Barnes Towing has come to my rescue on several occasions. They are always quick to respond, communicate effectively throughout the process, and provide EXCELLENT customer service! They take great care of my car, and are always so friendly. Special thanks to Curtis in particular! Keep up the good work!

As another reviewer already stated, Barnes Towing is engaging in predatory towing in league with Carr Mill Mall. I left my car for just a few minutes in the Harris teeter parking lot, to walk my friend over to a neighboring business, then came right back to do my grocery shopping and caught them backing their tow truck up to my car. They wanted $ 75 cash NOT to tow my car. I pulled out my credit card and they charged an additional $ 25 «processing fee», for a total of $ 100. When I conmplained to the store manager in the Harris Teeter, he told me this happens all the time… that it had even happended to store employees who stepped off the property to grab something to eat. They are hiding, waiting and watching folks… beware!

Really? Why are you in business? Oh yeah, to tow teenagers’ vehicles from McDonalds while eating at McDonalds!

To the lady on the phone who was so ignorant in response to my joke: CHEER UP. You haven’t even had the pleasure of meeting me yet.

Last Thursday, January 24, 2013 I had gone off Jones Ferry Road at 10:30 pm to avoid an animal, ending it up driving in a muddy drainage ditch, I managed to get out with the front tire blowing out. The spare was flat. Barnes was fantastic! First you have to realize, that I asked them to come out three times because I canceled twice based on false cues, but not from them. I tried to save the upfront costs by seeing if I can get my insurance company to pay them to come out, but that was a journey that I would never want to repeat, as my insurance company incompetently called towing companies that could not come out. And then I canceled when a good Samaritan showed up (Actually, it was George who owns George’s Towing, driving his BMW!), but that was when we discovered the flat spare. Anyhow, the point of all of this, is they could’ve been extremely skeptical about a third call from me, given the two cancellations already! But no, the secretary there was fantastic, and understood what I was doing and the plight I was in (especially given that my right arm was in a cast) and worked expeditiously to make sure a truck was out there as fast as possible with the compressor on the truck to take care of me. (She explained that all their trucks have the compressors, and I can tell you from my phone calls before I found this company — and then told by George — that is highly unusual!) The driver showed up, was extremely professional, and got me back on the road. This is a well equipped and professional towing company, and I would highly recommend them if you need that kind of service or even a tire pump up.
