History

Established in 1964.

Our practice was founded by Dr. A. John Rose, who was the President of the State Board of Optometry, in 1964. Twenty years later, Dr. Rose retired and the practice was assumed by Dr. Marilyn George who retired in 2015 and our current optometrist, Dr. Bianca Kostranchuk renamed the practice Chardon Family Eyecare and moved the office to our convenient location of of Rt. 44 (across from Dunkin Doughnuts)

From a young age Dr Kostranchuk knew she wanted to become an optometrist, and in 2012 she graduated from The Ohio State University and began her career in the optometry field.
