Great Place… My daughter was having problems with car. She lives in Charleston going to school. My husband and I live three hours away. I made an appointment with another auto repair shop. Due to a glitch in their system. They were unable to get the car in. The gentleman recommended me to take my daughter’s car to Appalachian Tire. We did go to Appalachian Tire. The gentleman Brett was very nice and friendly. He told us they would get it in and check on it. Call me when they found something. In an hour Brett called back to inform me that the lung nuts were not on correctly. They would get it fixed and the car would be ready. I appreciate this gentleman and his crew. They could of easily taken me for a lot more things. I respect a business that does that. In my gratitude of appreciation. I brought a dozen doughnuts to given the work crew. When I picked my daughter’s car up.

What a scam of a place. I’m visiting from FL and needed an alignment before I went back. I have recently had 2 new tires, a tie rod, and idler arm replaced on my vehicle with no issue. I went to appalachian for an alignment and they tell me after 2 hrs of waiting that they can’t do the alignment because of a problem with the ball joints. After explaining I know they weren’t bad and asking for a quote, they told me $ 519 and that they couldn’t do the alignment until I had those repairs done. Do not go here if you’re not a local, seems like they try to take advantage of people they think have to get work done before traveling home etc. Front desk guy was somewhat friendly after I have them a piece of my mind and offered me the corporate owner’s phone number. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS GARAGE TO ANYONE! TERRIBLE

Brought my truck in to have the axle seals replaced. I am very satisfied with the service and results. I would definitely recommend this business to others.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change. They made me sit for over an hour without telling me they didn’t have the correct filter. They only have me this information when I asked. 2 stars because the representative I asked was very tough with the mechanics and made sure he got an answer for me. I will certainly pass on these guys next time I need some work done.
