This is a great theater to see a movie that has been out for a while. The prices are pretty affordable and it seems like theres never anyone there… until you see a brand new movie. Then its kind of a sh*t show. My last time there was opening night for Deadpool. I went earlier in the day to buy tickets and the box office wasnt open. So i bought tickets through fandango where you pay a premium to get tickets early and are supposed to be able to get into the theater easier. No luck. Waited in line with everyone else and the ticket booth wasnt open so were going into the lobby listening to people leave who had been in line only to find out the movie was sold out. as were standing in line with our tickets, wishing we had been there 20 minutes earlier, were listening to the counter attendants yammer on with the guests while our movie time and quickly creeping up. In the end we made the movie and found the last 2 seats next to each other, but lesson learned.

Great prices and the theater is always clean.
Deducted a star for the convoluted method of selling tickets– which is to say you order your tickets and food at the same time.
This works well when they aren’t busy or if you want something from the concession stand, not so much if you just want tickets.
For my wife and I it wasn’t a big deal as we waited inside to get our tickets to see Deadpool.
However, after ~10 minutes waiting I turned around and noticed the line stretched out the door, down the stairs and along the building.
It was 39 degrees outside. I would wager many of those people would have liked to grab their tickets from the 2 dedicated sales booths outside and just went into the theater to get warm.
I think the manager should have made an executive decision to get the patrons inside.

Torn on my rating here. This is a high 3. Really not sure I can give a 4. This is the best deal for movies in Charleston but probably because they seem to spend less on upkeep and staff. We saw Star Wars for 4 $ each less than we would have paid at other local theatres. That alone is close to warranting 4 stars. I will be back as we only do a couple movies a year and the prices at the other theatres is more than it is worth for us so I think it is a very good value. Just a little more customer service would be nice.

Overall I was pleased with this theater experience. I bought my tickets in advance on Fandango to beat the line, however, since it was a 10:30am showing on a Sunday, there wasn’t much of a line anyway. I brought the family, and the kids really wanted a red and blue slush drink, but we were told that the machine was on a timer and that it wouldn’t be ready for at least an hour, which was halfway through the movie. I didn’t really want the kids to have that before noon anyway, but still, kids were sad. Theater experience was fine. Seats were comfortable for the first part of the show, but as a taller person, the right theater experience makes all the difference. We got to the theater early and the kids were hoping to play in the game room to kill some time, but the game room was very empty and only had one or two things to play with, two of which were photo booths.

Close by and good popcorn. Glad to have it near me when I want to see a new movie! :)

Overall had a great experience! I went with my boyfriend on a Tuesday night to see Creed and we were surprised that we could each get a small popcorn for 2 dollars each. Definetly ask about the specials that night. I think Tuesdays are their special on concessions.

Your average, nothing special theater. They offer super cheap matinée tickets and concession discounts on Tuesdays. A large popcorn and soda was $ 10 or $ 12. The seats aren’t really comfy and the whole theater feels pretty old and outdated. The staff was nice enough, and the popcorn fresh.
If you want the nice theater, head to Regal in MtP. If you’re just looking to see a movie and you wanna save money, this place is plenty sufficient.

Best prices for a movie in charleston. Good popcorn and the staff is always nice. The only suggestion is I wish they had raised seats in the theater.

Why not give them the full Stars? Always clean with friendly staff. Rooms are small but that is ideal for a good experience since it feels like a private screening. Finally! at last! a theater that keeps the sound rich and loud and not only for the previews and the commercials! As for the prices… both tickets and concessions are fair and a lot cheaper than the giant complexes that you wait in long lines, don’t get the good seat and they turn the sound down for the movie. Let us say it how it is. This theater is better than the big, flashy ones and deserve the stars. I still have the best for last… When you leave the theater, you can always have a glimpse or even pet some of the cats that are taken care of and are even named by the staff and hang around the theater (as long as they are spade and neutered which I have to make sure is the case). As for the handicapped, the center court and best seats are permanently reserved for them. Enjoy!

The saving grace are their prices, half off what other theaters charge for first run movies sets the expectations where they should be. Be warned, while they sell tickets on Fandango they will not accept fandango gift cards, you must purchase ahead of time and pay the added convenience fees (which adds roughly $ 2/​ticket, placing the prices around higher-​end theaters). Once the show has started fandango stops selling and you must pay the theater out-​of-​pocket.
While they have a popcorn popper I’ve never seen it being used and the popcorn does taste bagged. The $ 20 popcorn bucket is a great deal. All other concessions are priced similarly to other theaters (obscenely expensive). The theater I most recently sat in reeked of B.O., and the lack of AC only perpetuated that odor. Your shoes do not stick to the ground amazingly enough. The theaters do not seat more than 75 people, and normally I see less than 10 viewing any given show.
During the last show theater attendants walked through our show and opened an EXIT door and kept it open for several minutes. Additionally a fire alarm sounded which had the staff in complete disarray and all theaters emptying into the halls. Twenty years ago the theater was clean and beautiful, I know this because nothing has changed. I’m sure if their arcade games ever moved there’d be brand new, untouched carpet underneath.
Overall, not a terrible 5^th date spot (I wouldn’t bring a new partner to this theater) and provides cheap tickets on semi large screens.

So, I guess it’s all about what you value. For sure this place is a bit «dive-​y.» BUT, tickets are cheap (high priority), the place while not super updated was very clean (priority). I can handle old, can’t handle dirty… So I’ll take old if it is essentially half price tickets. Concessions were expensive, just like most theaters. We got the «deal» where you essentially buy this reusable bucket for $ 20, you bring it when you come back and you can fill it (it’s huge) for $ 4. That’s a pretty good marketing idea, in my opinion. A large drink gets free refills and they didn’t mind in the slightest that we were sharing… But I mean at almost $ 7, it’s not like they were losing money on our one refill. My only complaint would be that it was pretty cold in there. But I’ll be back, good deals here.

Cheap theater, good popcorn and concessions prices. Actual theater rooms are on the smaller side, and I’m not a huge fan of the non-​stadium seating and the aisle that goes straight down the center. However, it’s super cheap, the visuals/​sound are great, the staff is always helpful, and the restrooms are clean.

Its been my theatre since I’ve been 10 so its in my blood to go here. Only a few improvements are needed more video games in the arcade, cheaper prices at the concession stand and the seats aren’t comfortable at all. Another complaint is the movies don’t last here at all a week at the most. This is because the theatre isn’t that big its has about 10 movies going and that’s just a strong guess. You cant to much complain about the movies if your getting what your going there for and that’s to watch a movie. There’s no complaints there of course. Friendly staff they all know me I’ve been going for years so they know me by name very kind people. The theatre all and all can be a better experience more exciting you come here JUST to watch the movie nothing more. I’ve seen theatres with a part attached to sit and eat. I’ve seen video games in every single corner this spot is lacking space but its what I’m use to. It never fails to disappoint when there’s a brand new movie that comes out this theatre gets movies in as fast as any other theatre. You see a date on the tv when a movie is coming out it will always be at this theatre

I love going to movies. This theatre lets me do that at a resonable cost. Matinée movies run $ 5 a ticket. The video games are pretty awesome as well, The seats are old and worn but are larger than the seats found at the IMAX theatre at Citidal Mall. Plus I really, really hate that every movie that comes out these days is in 3D. I don’t know if they even offer 3D here but I’ve been able to check out a number of summer releases in 2D which has been great. The only thing keeping it from a 5 Star review is their concession prices. This is where this theatre gets you. Seriously it was like $ 15 for a coke and popcorn.

This theater has been around for what seems like forever, but that makes it all the more charming. Located thirty minutes from Kiawah and just minutes from Folly Beach, this has been my go-​to theater for years. There are never more than a couple of people working, but that seems to work for them. The theater is old but clean and well-​maintained. The screens and sound are okay, but the seats could definitely use an upgrade. They’re a total throwback to the days of slim, rigid theater chairs. I’ve never been to a sold-​out showing here, so chances are pretty good that you’ll have the theater (mostly) to yourself. They don’t serve alcohol, and the concession offerings are pretty basic, but this is definitely a solid option if you’re in the area.
