J Henry Stuhr – Stuhr Funeral Home

No one likes to review a funeral home. And I don’t really have the inside scoop on this one — though it was for a family funeral, I wasn’t intimately involved in the details (thankfully).
The location is relatively central to many places West of the Ashley, and the actual building is nice enough, though on the modern side. Definitely not for your more traditional-​minded, if that’s what you’re after.
What they do offer is the out-​of-​your-​way service, because I don’t remember seeing a single staff member while we were here. I’m sure they were, and I don’t expect service like we were eating dinner or anything, but they allow you to gather with friends and family, definitely important at a time such as this.
