We are conveniently located near Charleston’s best shopping districts, historic neighborhoods, museums and landmarks. The Visitor’s Center, Aiken Rhett Mansion, Gabriel Manigault House and Charleston Museum are all just three blocks away.

Established in 2008.

The Joseph Aiken Carriage House has provided a home away from home for thousands of guests since its opening in 2008. The meticulously restored Carriage House with off-​street parking provides a base of operations for anyone looking for non-​hotel accomodations.

The Joseph Aiken Carriage House is NOT a Bed and Breakfast. Our suites are UNHOSTED fully furnished one bedroom apartments with full kitchens… dishes and linens included. We offer short and long-​term rentals. We look forward to having you stay with us!
