Everyone who is not in a frat or sorority at EIU goes to this bar. Everyone. So that’s the type of crowd to expect. Fridays from 4 to 7, the Paw does 4:00 Club with free food and a few drink specials, which is a nice way to start the weekend.

Love this place! Good mix of people and you are almost always sure to run into someone you know. The drinks are strong and cheap, although it will take a while to get them. Good mix of music and suspiciously sticky floors.

Your run-of-the-mill college dive bar. Cheap drinks, people ragin’ on the dancefloor, pool tables and billiards. 3 stars because the DJ on a Saturday night played exclusively hip-hop, and I mean ONLY hip-hop. Granted, it’s decent dancing music, but what’s wrong with a little variety? At least mix it up once in a while, throw in some EDM or 80’s, 90’s, something else that my cracker ass can groove to.

Typical College bar. Who can beat $ 0.75 beers and $ 2 shots! Bloody Mary’s are pretty good too. The actual SLOWEST service for food in the world. I’m talking 45+ min for nachos… But once you actually get your food its good bar food. Big portions and low prices. Place is great for watching a game. Get the fried pickles!
