We are The Modern Connection. A Social Media Firm. But it might shock you to know that we don’t consider ourselves social media experts.

In fact, we don’t believe there is such a thing. What we do believe is that with a clear understanding of your company’s objectives and goals, of who your core customer is and how they behave, and which communication tools serve best to bring these elements together, we can help you create an effective and successful online presence that gets results.

Business Owner

Ashley T Caldwell is the owner and founder of The Modern Connection, a social media firm based in Charleston, SC. Recognizing the need for innovative marketing solutions that helped businesses tap into the vastly growing social networking landscape, Ashley created The Modern Connection four years ago and has built a client portfolio that includes more than 65 companies.

From strategic planning to social branding, blogging, website development, social network management and more, The Modern Connection touches all elements of a successful online presence. More importantly, Ashley and her team position themselves as an extension of a business’s marketing arm — providing valuable insight and direction for integrating social media into existing efforts — creating a stronger offline brand with online support.

Ashley holds a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in recording arts and media management and a minor in leadership from the University of Colorado.
