History
Established in 2004.
Established by Charlestown resident John Moore, the Bistro was to be for the neighborhood. The first restaurant that actually caters to the neighborhood with reasonable prices and a great affordable wine list. Some high end wines are marked so low, Boston Magazine refused to publish the the price of Cakebread in a recent interview with John.
The menu changes seasonally with the locally trinity ‚
«Ginger-Sake Salmon, Roast Chicken, and Hanger Steak» always on the menu. The Bistro also in very involved in the community.
Meet the Business Owner
John Moore M.
Business Owner
John was recently featured on Chronicle for making a very sucessful career change to the restaurant industry from a sales career. He worked as a line cook and sous chef at a couple of restaurants for a year before he opened the Bistro to gain valuable hands on experience. He also enrolled at BU wine school and took classes at Bunker Hill Community College.
