My name is Lauren and I’d like to welcome you to Super Pup. We are a small business of experienced dog walkers that specialize in giving your pet the ultimate care they deserve. I have been walking in the Charlestown area for seven years & have a wide range of experience with dogs young & old of all breeds. We do 20, 40, & 60 minute walks/​park trips & are happy to customize our service to your needs. We also offer overnight care, at my home or yours. What makes our service unique? I strive to provide a well rounded service that not only provides the best care possible, giving your dog ample mental & physical stimulation, but also consider it our duty to help with any training/​behavioral issues that may arise. Not only do I want your dog to be happy & tired, but I want them to achieve their full potential & be the best dog they can be. Don’t have a dog? We also are happy to check on cats/​birds/​fish or even just your home while you’re away. Never fear, it’s Super Pup to the rescue!

History

Established in 2005.

I got into dog walking because I wanted to learn more about dogs and improve the life of my first dog, a Golden Retriever named Sadie. Little did I know it would turn into a full fledged passion & seven years later I would be running my own business & become Charlestown’s favorite dog whisperer! Over time I have learned so much about these wonderful creatures; breed info/​history, dog behavior, dog socialization, etc. through my hands on experience and being an avid reader of all things canine. Although I am not a certified trainer I am confident in my abilities to help you navigate through the ups and downs that come with having dogs be a part of your family. Now with my second dog, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy named Jasper, I have a happy go lucky pup who is becoming a great role model for all the young ones yet to come. I truly love what I do and couldn’t be happier helping humans and dogs get the most out of their relationship & bond.

I am 29 years old and have been living in Boston for the past ten years. I am originally from the NY/​PA/​NJ tri-​state area and came to Boston to go to Northeastern University. I fell in love with the city and it never was a question of whether I would stay, Boston is definitely my permanent home. Dogs became an interest when trying to help Sadie overcome some of her issues due to poor socialization prior to my ownership of her. I had no idea when I started that I was going to get so involved with dogs but they really have become the passion of my life. I hope to some day have a larger scale business where I can work with dogs in a greater capacity, with a doggy day care, grooming, training classes, etc. and am also interested in getting involved in breeding and showing sometime in the future.
