Affordable Charlotte Shuttle

Found this car service on the Internet and booked it for our airport run without seeing any reviews. Saw some reviews on Unilocal and then started having doubts. No worries!
The driver arrived on time, actually 10 minutes early. Very courteous and personable. Helped my mom (88 years old) get into the van, buckled her up and asked her if she was warm enough. Although my son has lived in Charlotte for 5 years, our driver showed us a different route to the airport. I would definitely use this service again.

My wife and I had just moved to Charlotte at the end of June and needed transportation to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). I found Affordable Charlotte Shuttle online, and decided to give them a try even though they had mixed reviews. I called and told them that we’ll be flying out on ⁶⁄₂₈ at six o’clock so we would like to be picked up at 4:30 to avoid rush hour traffic on 485. (I heard horror stories). I was told that traffic wouldn’t be a problem and 4:30 was fine. Long story short my cell phone went off the next morning at 4:30am and scared my wife. When I answered it was a driver from Affordable Charlotte Shuttle, I told him that we need transportation at 4:30pm. He seem a bit annoyed and hung-​up the phone.
I called and spoke with the manager Lawrence Broome later that morning. He immediately became confrontational telling me that he put us in for 4:30am. I asked him if he remembered me having concerns about rush hour traffic? And, he said yes. I then said why would there be rush hour traffic at 4:30 am in the morning. Again, he just continued to talk over me and be confrontational, he even hung up on me several times. I logged on to my online banking and saw that they had already withdrew $ 55 even though I previously requested to pay with cash. He was adamant about charging me another $ 45 to come back out pick me up at 4:30pm. He keep saying that he would never make a mistake like this, he said «I do this hundred times a day». My response was I only did this once with you, so could it be possible that I remembered this one incident while you may have made a mistake during scheduling your 100 daily appointments. He emphatically said NO!!!
PLEASE DON’T GET SUCKERED INTO TO LOW PRICES LIKE I DID!!! Their customer service is horrendous.

Called 2 days in advance to book a shuttle for my parents. Driver confirmed the address, pick-​up time, and gave us a quote.
The driver never showed up and never called to let us know they weren’t coming.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Called the night before when I realized that my boyfriends and my flights were gonna be like a day apart and I had no ride to his house. This rate beat everyone elses. I called when I landed to make sure they were there. They gave prompt service and pick up with in ten minutes of me getting curbside. I went all the way to Concord and the rate was $ 40. He was surprised when I tipped him. I will admit his GPS was a bit off and he didn’t set it to the morning commute to allow traffic changes and lane closures. But he was apologetic. I was so happy to get home within half and hour. shower and be in my bed without a flaw. Highly recommend!

Just moved to Charlotte from Boston and looking for a good taxi service (travel a lot for work). I found this service on Unilocal and decided to try them. The service is very professional and arrived at the exact time I requested the car. It was also a very clean vehicle that was smoke-​free. I highly recommend this service compared to regular taxis that don’t show up on time, or are dirty inside. Plus, this company takes cash or credit card, ideal for business travelers like myself.
