Allen’s Jewelers is a family owned fine jewelry store in Charlotte NC since 1989. We are a member of American Gem Society and specialize in fine diamond, colored gem and pearl jewelry designs. Our new Cotswold area location houses a bench jeweler onsite for all repairs and pearl/​bead stringing. We also have a Graduate Gemologist/​Certified Gemologist to do jewelry appraisals for insurance and estate purposes. Our unique designs are in platinum, 18kt and 14kt as well as a fine sterling silver line. Working closely with customers on custom designs has earned us a high reputation over the last 25 years in Charlotte NC.

History

Established in 1989.

Allen’s Jewelers was started in 1989 by Graduate Gemologist, Karen Allen. In 2002 it became the first woman owned jewelry store in Charlotte to be admitted to the American Gem Society. This Society demands the highest of ethics, education and standards in the industry and Allen’s is proud to be a part of it. The store built it’s reputation on excellent quality in diamonds, colored gems and pearls as well as customer service. For 25 years it was located in the Myers Park area of Charlotte in a 100 year old quadraplex on Circle Avenue. Over the years Karen Allen has worked with high profile customers nation wide. One of our customer’s engagement rings has even been blessed by the Pope! In 2014 Allen’s Jewelers relocated to the current store in the Cotswold area to offer over 2,000 square feet of unique designs in a relaxing atmosphere. Lauren Allen, Karen’s daughter has joined our staff to continue the legacy of one of Charlotte’s finest jewelry stores.
