History

Established in 2009.

Arvil Price, the owner of Americas Choice Home Inspections LLC started doing home inspections in 1998 with a company called PCH Home Inspections. Americas Choice was opened in 2009, and today our eight inspectors are nationally certified in radon testing, radon mitigation, and pest control.

Manager

Arvil Price has been a licensed real estate broker since the early 1990s and is a certified instructor for the NC real estate commission. He teaches continuing Education to agents around the state. In the mid 1990s he became a home builder and served as vice-president of the Lake Norman Home Builders Assoc. This mixed background and experience is what helped propel his endeavors in the home inspection field.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
We paid almost $ 800 for a report that is worth nothing. They noted minor issues, but omitted issues, like disconnected gas lines. That apperantly is not part of their «standard work.»
Making it right for the client is also not part of their business! So, save youself the trouble of dealing with them and wasting money paying for a worthless report. Find another inspection company. I would not recommend them to anyone. Our real estate agent is also aware of the issues and will not be recommending them either.

Our inspection was cursory at best. Our inspection missed 4 cracks on the foundation that were easily identified by our handyman. I would not call this or anything like this a «home inspection». This would be a «let’s sample and look at a few things and make a report». I do real inspections for a living what America’s Choice does is nothing like a real inspection. The only positive is that the inspector was friendly and the time was very convenient.

Had my home inspected by this company. The employee inspecting, David, had assured us that he crawled around the roof of the home and everything looked great. A couple weeks later after the home closes we are having some work done to the house including adding a vent for an oven hood. During that time it was discovered that there were huge holes in the roof boot leaving our interior exposed to the elements. Unless you are blind there is no way you missed this. They flat out lied about doing a full inspection and now I am left to doubt the integrity of their service. they offered to pay for the boots on the roof and also do another walk through. Thanks guys. However, I would never recommend them to anyone.
