Ballantyne Reading Academy for the Very Young offers superior, customized tutoring for beginning readers entering preschool and beyond. Our one-​one-​one and small-​group tutoring sessions are designed with your child in mind. This unique, one-​of-​a-​kind learning center offers customized tutoring in reading, writing, oral fluency and penmanship. A personalized curriculum meets the needs of young learners needing enrichment outside of the classroom or one-​on-​one literacy support. Creative, fun and engaging lessons provide a head start for little ones entering preschool and motivate school-​age children to become confident readers. Our nurturing, degreed and experienced educators provide multimedia lessons that are tailored to each child and keep younger students excited about reading. Great support for homeschoolers too! Our newest services include correspondence etiquette, writing workshops, story time hours and Meet-​the-​Author days. Literacy enrichment classes & Summer Camps too! Lisa P.

Business Owner

Lisa Palladino, the owner and founder of Ballantyne Reading Academy for the Very Young, has been helping children become confident readers for over 25 years. After graduating magna cum laude from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA with a BA in Elementary Education and a concentration in Reading Instruction, Lisa began a successful teaching career which included serving on the Walpole, MA Superintendent’s Literacy Committee, at the request of the Superintendent. Lisa’s distinctive approach to combining phonics with language-​oriented activities led her to co-​author a teacher’s guide to Whole Language instruction and present at regional professional development workshops on the benefits of her integrative classroom reading strategies.
