I used to get my tree braids done in Atlanta, then I found out that Kristy at Bignon’s also does them, and the pictures looked good. I made an appointment with her for a Saturday morning at 9am at the N. Tryon location. I got there at 9, and she was already there, which was good! There was no wait, whatsoever. We verified the type of hair that I had chosen (Kima Ocean Wave-​love it!) and she installed the braids. She did a great job! I was very pleased. They are EXTREMELY NEAT. She is also very sweet and friendly.
I didn’t post a pic because I hate taking pics, but just know they look amazing.
If you are looking for quality tree braids in Charlotte– definitely call Kristy B.

I just got Senegalese twist at bignon. They are excellent and look nice. My stylist was professional and nice. They are also talented ladies!

I finally went to Bignon’s after hearing so much about it. My stylist was talented and did an excellent job! The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that after a while, they all start talking at the same time in their «language». I think that’s rude because the main people in there are English speaking people who are paying for a service. If you don’t want us to hear what you are saying, maybe you should wait until you get a private moment and say it then. Otherwise, okay. I will definitely go back!

She says they are considered box braids. I was notable to talk to the stylist & get a quote over the phone. Again I had to ground and round explaining that ALL I want are 8 simple braids.
