OK, let me start off by saying I HATE cardio. When I signed up for my first bootcamp class here, if I would have known in advance that it was a straight athletic conditioning(aka cardio) class, I would have bailed. However, I felt like I was pleasantly surprised when the 45 minutes flew by. They were great about providing options(both easier and more difficult) to accommodate all fitness levels, had good music going to distract you, and the instructor came around to help provide adjustments and motivation. While I have only been to one class thus far, the theme of each class varies every time, to include different combinations of strength training and cardio. They do not have any machines, just various props(weighted balls, free weights, ropes, etc.). There are also a variety of class times(mornings and evenings) as well as coed vs. guy/girl only to accommodate everyone’s schedules and workout preferences. They also offer FREE classes on Saturdays and provide child care!

Burn Bootcamp has been one of the most effective workouts I’ve experienced since I moved to Charlotte a year and a half ago. The best way to describe Burn Bootcamp is circuit training. Kyle, the main trainer, motivates you push harder and go the extra mile every class. Best trainer I’ve had so far! I usually go to the 5:30am classes and it may get a little crowded, but that says a lot about Burn Bootcamp. Everyone loves being there because they are getting results! Not only do they focus on strength, they focus on your nutrition as well by having nutritionists and doctors come by to do speeches occasionally. It’s free on the weekends so I love taking friends on a Saturday morning. They recently started offering yoga classes. Every day has a different focus, such as Athletic Conditioning with core finisher for Monday or Lower Body Strength with team finisher for Tuesday, and that’s the best part of Burn Bootcamp. I highly recommended this place. You will have a great time and see results.

This is not your average workout !! When I first heard about Burn Bootcamp I was intimidated because I did not think I was athletic or in shape enough to complete a «bootcamp» class or even attend regularly. When I first started bootcamp it was tough but it was surprisingly fun. I workout with a great group of ladies every morning that has awesome energy and motivates me to push through each workout and come back each morning. Killer Kyle is honestly the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is tough but he makes you feel comfortable, he is super encouraging and he really cares about your well being. He remembers everyone’s pain complaints and modifies any workout to accommodate you but that doesn’t mean it will be easier !! Burn Bootcamp is a great program because they don’t only focus on the workout but your nutrition and measurements. The scale is not heavily considered. I never would of thought I would be addicted to a bootcamp class but it really is that enjoyable and that effective !
