Recently my friends bought me 5 hours of time with Adam to help me post– hip surgery. It was incredibly helpful and such a great service. He helped by running errands, went the DMV (who wants to do that??), grocery shopping, walked the dogs and even cooked us a delicious, healthy meal one night and cleaned up afterwards– heaven! It was better than a meal at most places out, and we didn’t have to lift a finger or even leave the house! :)
He also does catering, events and that sort of thing as he’s a JWU grad and has lots of resources to tap into. We are going to use that as a present for other friends who have surgery, as well as people moving to a new house because that week is always hectic.
How much is your time worth? Probably more than his rate. Plus you get to say you have a «butler» (with affected accent of course).
