A paint store? I actually shopped at a paint store? Uh, yeah, afraid I did. For whatever reason, one of the painters that we hired couldn’t — or wouldn’t — pick up his own paint. That’s an entirely different story. So he sent us to pick it up ourselves.
I think it’s because when we got there, he called to tell us to give them a different name (not his — a different name entirely). The good news is that we got a sweet, sweet price on the paint. So that’s pretty cool. It just tells me that this paint supply industry is a little odd. And the paint itself is pretty good, or seems to be at any rate.
While I was there I also picked up a caulk gun that has a smooth trigger action and you don’t need to perform any funky quick-​release action to stop the caulk from flowing. Highly recommend it if you’re doing any caulking. I used to hate it. I don’t really love it now, but it’s totally bearable now.
