I love Fuze. It’s smallish and I never feel rushed through like some other pricy salons in town. The waiting area is comfy, they have free wifi, tea, coffee and water. There’s a cute outside garden area if you prefer waiting al fresco. The salon floor is nicely laid out with plenty of room between stations so you don’t feel crowded and your stylist isn’t bumping into their neighbor. The receptionist is one of the best I’ve seen in a service business; she’s friendly, makes you feel welcome and does her job well. I see Ginni and she’s great — personable and professional. She’s efficient while doing a great job. I generally end up wishing I had longer to talk to her! They carry a full line of products and while suggestions are made it’s not a huge sales push to have you buy them. All in all a lovely salon I think you should check out soon!

I have been going to Fuze for about 4 years now. My stylist is Ember and she has never disappointed me. I always have the perfect haircut and highlights when I leave the salon. I see Rosie, the esthetician, for waxing and facials. Rosie is the best waxer I’ve ever been to see. I absolutely love Fuze Salon. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The salon is relaxing and comfortable. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I went to Jen and the request of my mother who has very short cropped hair. I was hesitant because I had below-the-shoulder hair. However, I went to Jen and told her I was considering shortening it but hadn’t worn it short since 7th grade and obviously was kind of freaked out by the idea. Jen convinced me that with my bone structure, it would look fabulous. And it DID! I’m never going back to long hair and though I now live in DC, I’m not trusting anyone else to cut it. It’s worth the flight home just to see Jen!

I’ve only been to Fuze once, so take my review for what it’s worth. My friend, Freda Z, recommended this place, but the stylist she uses was not available. I was booked with Ember. The cool thing I noticed off the bat was that girl who answered the phone was down to earth and friendly. She even reassured me that although I had asked for another stylist(and would be listed in the computer as that being my primary stylist), it was completely fine if Ember did my hair. Coming from Los Angeles, where I was given the stinkeye from my primary stylist who was booked up while one of her co-workers cut my hair, this was appreciated. The salon is chic and comfortable. A warm, smiling receptionist put me at ease. Ember was right on time. She is friendly, hip and makes casual conversation in a sincere, no-bs sort of way. She works fast and gives a great cut. One that is ready-to-wear vs. let it grow a few weeks. If I didn’t move from Charlotte, I would definitely be back. Check out is easy and there is a cool black gratuity envelope with silver pen — ah the details I appreciate. The other great thing is that referrals get a gift card and I got 20% off. Score!

What makes a good salon? Convenient location, stylists skilled both with creativity and an ability to listen, relaxing atmosphere, good products, and those all-important courtesy reminder calls. These days, I’ll add something else: reasonable price for service. I was regularly going to another conveniently-located salon for a couple of years, but I finally had to give it up. Yes, the stylist was wonderful, but $ 85 plus a tip each visit was beginning to burn a hole in my wallet. Although I had bonded with my stylist, I finally had to face up to the fact I could no longer sustain the cost of being well-groomed. Either that, or my hair was going to have to grow real long between annual salon visits. I heard that Fuze had a large staff of stylists, so I figured I’d give it a try. Amy R. is still correct. Currently, cuts still start at $ 30. My stylist, Carrie, is delightful and quite skilled. OK, maybe not as experienced as the other stylist who had 20+ years on her in age, but for my money, I think Fuze is an excellent choice for budget-conscious fashionistas. Or is it fashion-conscious budgetistas? I recommend Fuze as an affordable choice in either case.

First off… I’m a guy! No, not the manscapping kind of guy. I have been going here for about 2 years also. It is a perfect combination of great stylist with a little edge and professional polish. It is not the glam and bling fashion show set up of so many salons. Not pretentious… but they could be. They are that good. Shoot me a message if your going so I can refer you and get the kick back!!!

I’ve been going to Fuze for almost two years now, and I really like it. The location is an old Elizabeth house converted into a hip salon. You’ll find plenty of women dishing to their stylists there and the place is always busy. I get haircuts from Susan and I’m always pleased with the results. Haircuts start at $ 30 and go up to $ 90 depending on the stylist. When you make an appointment, find out the cost. In addition to cut and color, they do skin care and waxing.
