Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Garrett Newsom got his hands on his first camera from his father at the age of 15.

After numerous awards and recognition of his work he continued to study photography under the instruction of Nan Cutting along with other educational courses. Garrett’s work has been featured in major publications such as:

Garrett has focused his work on models, couples, infants, & their possessions. He has also earned the title as «one of the most comfortable photographers in the Charlotte area to work with» from numerous models and couples throughout the region. Mr. Newsom not only has provided those seeking his services with professional images but he has also helped jump start many model’s careers through coaching, instruction, & guidance.
