I have been going here for years and have always been happy with their work. They are Chinese immigrants and the woman who runs the business, although her English is limited, she is very nice. Some may misinterpret her lack of chatting and all-business demeanor as rude or standoffish but she is neither of those things. She is busy and accommodating and will do her best to have your items altered when you need them, even on short notice. The shop is small and a bit cluttered but the work they do is quality and their prices are very reasonable.

The interior of the place is cluttered with non business-items, like they are running a flea market out of it. Seriously, there were range hoods(for a Chinese restaurant) and boxes of wireless routers. Clutter everywhere, making this place feel smaller than it already is. I went here to simply have a pair of pants hemmed. The lady who measured me was completely rude, and made me feel as if I was a burden to her workday. Her English was limited, but non-existent, but she still insisted on rudely pointing and shouting orders at me, in between yelling to someone in the back room in what I assume was Chinese. If I didn’t need these pants done and she didn’t have the pins in them, I would(and should) have left at this point. Did I mention this place smells like urine? During the first consult, she asked me if I wanted cuffs. When I went back(5 days later) the pants were wrong. The lady argued with and asked me 5 times if I asked for no cuffs, she huffed and puffed(again) as if I was interrupting and was a horrible burden on her day. She then informed me if would be another day to get the cuffs taken out. These folks are rude, dirty, and hard to work with. I wont be going back.

So far, I have taken several pairs of shoes in for various repairs and recently had a broken zipper replaced in a favorite skirt. They do a good job at a fair price and are pretty quick with the repairs.
