History
Established in 2014.
HairKoncepts opened its doors on Oct 1st 2014. The owner, Kiana Moore, is a US Air Force Veteran and has been in the hair industry for 22yrs. She obtained formal training and became a licensed professional in 2008, and soon after started with Regis Corp in Houston TX. Kiana transferred to Charlotte NC Jan 2011 where she applied and became a salon manager. After successfully operating the salon as well as building a solid clientele, she got promoted to run one of Regis’s premium full service salon and spa. Kiana earned a business degree with a concentration in management while devouring every learning opportunity within the hair industry that presented itself and 2 years later decided it was time to try #theseHands at owning and operating her very own corporation.

Hi! I am Kiana, owner and operator of hairKoncepts Salon Studio. I have 3 children ages 9,10, and 13. I have been in the hair industry professionally for 7years and was in the military for 6years before that. I have always had a passion for hair in every aspect. I attended beauty school at Mitchell’s Academy in Cary NC, and soon after moved to TX where I began my career in hair with Regis Corp. After 2 years in Houston it was best for my family to come on home to NC where I continued with Regis at Hair Plus. The manager at the time left to pursue greener pastures, so I applied and became the manager of Hair Plus. After successfully running that salon, my district leader and higher ups decided to promote me to run one of their premium full service salon and spas in an upscale mall here in Charlotte. I attended multiple classes and education seminars and realized that my potential for success extended beyond someone else’s dreams and hairKoncepts Salon Studio was born.
