Humphreys and Company has it’s focus on you. And our commitment to you includes a wholistic environment. Our hair color is ammonia free and organically based. I am moving to provide only certified organic products for both hair care and skin care. Our hair care products are Moroccan Organics, our skin care is Luma Lisse. We also offer the finest men’s waxing service in town, using European waxes for different skin types and after waxing care to provide the best result. Massage for men is an eastern based massage using chakra balancing, Reiki and deep tissue work to take you from this world… and return you rejuvenated.

During most appointments… you are the only client in this cell free respite from the world. It’s all about you.

History

Established in 2005.

Humphreys and Co began in 2005 as one of the first Aveda Concept Salons in Charlotte. Through the years, our dedication has been to provide you with the best quality in all of our services, from ammonia free organic hair coloring and haircuts, to our spa services, facials, male waxing and male massage.

Our focus now is on a wholistic, from the Sanskrit meaning of wholeness of body, mind and spirit. A cell free zone, when you schedule your appointment, and specifically for spa appointments, you will be the only one here. All the focus is on you, and your wholistic experience.

Meet the Business Owner

Gene H.

Business Owner

Gene received his basic training as a stylist in Charlotte, and continued with studies in New York and Toronto. He trained for his estheticians’ license with Adrien Arpel in New York and Academie de Paris. Beginning in the mid 1980’s, Gene began massage and healing therapies with Buddhist monks in Charlotte, and continued with them in Asheville. He has spent the past two years becoming a level 2 Reiki healer. He continues to study aromatherapy and the use of healing herbs with Ayurveda counselor in Portland, Oregon.

He also has a masters in social work and has taken divinity studies at Duke University.
