Hunter Auto and Wrecker Service

Geico used this company to help unlock my car at 3. Orginal eta was 45 minutes. At 345 PM i called them and they said the driver was on his way. No show. At 415PM I called them again, I was told that the driver didn’t pick up the radio, but it should be soon. This sounded a bit fishy, so I had geico call them.
They told Geico it would be another 45 minutes. We ended up going with another vendor.
4 calls, 4 different stories. Do not recommend using this company.

I would not recommend Hunter Auto & Wrecker Service. They caused extensive damage to my car. My car broke down on my way to work (due to a radiator hose). Come to find out, the tow truck driver punctured my oil pan & ruined my transmission due to improper handling of my vehicle. They have done their best to make it right, but I will be without a car for a week after all of the repairs are complete. I am thoroughly disappointed.

Excellent customer service and fast response time! Hope I don’t need them anytime soon but if I do I will make sure to call Hunters!

I had horrible experience with this company. I was in need of towing service, asked around and looked online to see the good review for this company. I was told that they were expensive for a reason (because they «Offer great service») What a joke! 15 min late is OK, But 2 HOURS LATE is an insult! I had to call THEM instead of them calling me to find out the status of the truck. 4 calls later and being told over and over again, that the truck would be there in 10 minutes, I gave up an went with another company. They lost out on 100 bucks and lost out on me and everyone I know for future business.

I hope you never have to use Hunter Auto & Wrecker service, really I do. But if you do, they make the experience as painless as possible.
I called to have my car towed from my office, where it had decided it was too good to dunction properly, to the mechanic’s shop around the corener from my house (about five miles). They may have been the most expensive five miles it has ever gone but the $ 85 Hunter charged was not as painful as I feared. Up front I was told it would be 2 – 3 hours before they could get a truck to me (and it was) but since I had a full day at work ahead of me I was okay with that.
When the driver showed up I received a phone call from Hunter to let me know he was there. He had a flatbed truck rather than a hook, which was a pleasant surprise. Heran my credit card (be warned, these are not check accepting folks), hooked up the car and was ready to leave in 10 – 15 minutes and even waited while I penned a short not to the mechanic explaining the problem in full.
I can’t really comment on what happened after he left or how long it took for the car to get to the shop since I wasnt able to go with, but it certainly arrived there with no additional damage.
And really, thats all I care about.
