Mallard Creek Animal Hospital

I would like to recommend Dr. Fluke and the Mallard Creek Animal Hospital staff for their excellent care of the puppy I was raising and socializing for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Dr. Fluke consulted with SEGD on any health concerns, and then made follow-​up calls to me too.
After I adopted an older lab in 2010, I switched to MCAH. Dr. Fluke saw my dog for a routine health check-​up and also spent a long time with me answering training questions. She speaks to animals in a calming, soothing voice as she treats them. The bill was lower than what I expected for the length of the office visit. Dr. Fluke cared for my dog until the end of her sweet life and continues to care for my cat.

After our second visit to Mallard Creek Animal Hospital I couldn’t wait to write a review. I’ve dealt with extreme vet anxiety from my spaniel for five out of his five and a half years. He shakes, he cries, he is not the best version of himself.
We just switched here from our long-​time vet and I was dreading the first visit. Dr. Hyatt and the full team here made both of us comfortable whole being professional and efficient. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes for an annual visit and this included tests, blood drawn, vaccines, full exam. I didn’t feel rushed, more like they are very much on top of their game. Her recommendations came across as well-​informed and not pushy. Her counsel was reassuring and not that I look forward to another visit… but I know we will be in good hands when we return.
As others mentioned I felt their prices were more than fair.

Dr. Fluke has been my rabbit vet for about 10 years now, and she is the best! She and her staff are super friendly, very efficient, and very knowledgeable. I can not recommend the whole group enough!

Dr Green is an excellent vet. He saved my english bulldogs life after she was misdiagnosed with pancreitis. I am grateful for everything he has done.

We just saw the most awesome vet here. They were amazing, the appointment was quick, and most importantly the vet very clearly cared about our dog. Within about 30 minutes he was able to determine he had a torn ACL and prescribed a pain reliever for him, and then we were out of there!
Also very good pricing at this place. If you’re in the area, there are a few animal hospitals, and this is definitely the one to come to. We tried VCA Stoney Creek and besides being pricier, they were beyond rude and cold. This on the other hand was an amazing experience for both us and our pup!

Knowledgable, kind and caring staff. There is no dreaded ‘back room’ that they take your pets to, everything is done in the exam room, so you are able to be there to help keep your fur baby calm and as comfortable as possible. The Vets are the ones who trim nails, express anal glands, and all that fun stuff– which I think says a lot about the place. :)

I love this vet, not only are they the most friendly staff and Vets I have ever met but they are caring and they love every animal they care for. Dr. Green and every vet that has taken care of my Puffin really do enjoy their jobs, and it shows! Puff actually likes going to the vet, it’s like he knows once we get on the highway that he is going to Mallard Creek and he gets really excited! I live down town and it is a little bit of a hike for us to go to the vet, but I still go and will only go here, honestly I can’t think of any other vet I would choose! Thank you to all the staff for your help and care for my family’s dogs! :)

Dr. Green is a compassionate and caring vet. He has cared for my dogs for many years and I would not trust anyone else, but him and his team. They are a class act!

Awesome vet! Definitely recommend it to everyone in the area. Have always taken great care and patience with my German Shepherd. Dr. Burnette is great with animals and very upfront with us. I am moving and it is sad to leave this place behind as my dog has always been in great hands.
