Specialties

The Napa beverage philosophy is simple; approachable wines, beers and cocktails at approachable prices. Like restaurants and vineyard bars in Napa, we are always looking for those amazing gems of domestic beverage production that we can offer at amazing prices without the added costs of importing or name recognition. Our wine list is what we call Napa’s Top 100, a list of 100 great California wines. The wines by the glass portion of the list is centered around our wines on tap system, the largest in the state of North Carolina. A wine on tap is simply a wine dispensed from a large stainless steel keg. The benefits of this are numerous. It is environmentally friendly — thousands of glass bottles are avoided and that means there is no bottling cost. These costs savings are passed on to you — can be up to 20% less expensive than the same wine poured from a bottle. It is fresher and higher quality. When a wine by the glass is dispensed from a normal bottle, the wine immediately begins to spoil the moment the bottle is opened. In many cases the wine is already spoiled the next day as the restaurant continues to pour from the same bottle. In a keg system, the wine stays 100% fresh for months. You will be able to taste the difference. There are more choices — we dispense wines on tap in 3oz pours, 6oz pours, 12oz carafes and 24oz carafes (same as a bottle). This gives you more freedom of choice and allows you to experiment with different wines.

History

Established in 2012.

Napa Valley has a very unique culinary style and personality — local fresh ingredients prepared simply with a passion for scratch cooking, bold wines at great prices, and a vineyard aesthetic influenced by the rustic natural surroundings. Our purpose is to bring this comfortable style of dining to Charlotte.

The Napa Philosophy is our commitment to:

–Comfortable and approachable food and drink

–Freshness of ingredients

–Locally sourced ingredients when possible

–Partnering with area producers and craftsmen

–Cooking everything from scratch

–Great prices and variety of choices to encourage regular patronage

–Vineyard inspired décor and presentation

Nowhere is this more true than in our wines on tap, the largest in the state, or our barrel infused specialty cocktails. In the kitchen, our chef is committed to 100% scratch cooking, including

fresh bread and pomegranate butter, ice creams, pastas, soups, stocks and sauces.
