This location is very well situated — you can hit it going into town, headed either direction on Harris, or even if you’re leaving town(though you have to make a u-turn to do that, it’s fairly easy to do because of the intersection). There are also a reasonable number of pumps that generally work well here, and the store is fairly well stocked to boot. Unfortunately, the price on the sign isn’t usually what you pay. They get a little tricky with wording, unless you’re looking really closely. If you read it and look really closely it says«Cash/Citgo Card» — if you read it like most people, you’ll think«Oh, if I pay with cash or credit card. Wrong. It means if you pay with cash or a CITGO credit card. If you pay with anything else — and they do take about any credit card — they’ll ding you a few cents per gallon on top of the posted price. It’s like one of those places you typically find out in the middle of nowhere on the highway, not one that you’ll find in the middle of town, which is really strange. You would think that they would do what everyone else does. I guess no one really pays that much attention to the extra $ 0.50 or so on their bills or something.
