History

Established in 2010.

PowerFit Bootcamp started in St. Louis, MO in 2010 by owner JR Spear. With his experience in various styles of martial arts and time spent serving his country in the U.S. Military, JR grew a strong passion for fitness and a desire to help people get healthy. Since he spent a lot of time outdoors in the military he loved the concept of the Bootcamp style workout being able to use the outdoors and to focus more on resistant training and cardio rather than heavy weights where their is a higher risk for injury.

When PowerFit Bootcamp was created, JR wanted to develop a program that was going to offer a full body workout giving clients the flexibility to attend unlimited classes as they desired at whichever location services were provided at. PowerFit Bootcamp has grown quickly in a very short period of time expanding to Columbia, SC in 2012 and Charlotte, NC in the summer of 2014. Our goal is to offer our services in 5 different cities by the year 2016.
