Established in 2000.

STM was founded in 2000 and headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Our business is making sure your business has the appropriate IT infrastructure in place to ensure efficient, timely and cost effective operation. Our team, headed by Troy Rice, President, are all IT professionals with considerable background and experience.

Troy started the business with his father Bill Rice and brother Daryn Rice. Bill has since started his own business. Bill is a silversmith and owns Divvy Designs. Daryn continues to work with STM providing the voice and data cabling support for the business.

Our goal is to develop a long term partnership with our clients, a thorough knowledge of their business needs and to provide the very best IT support and utility available.

Business Owner

Troy Rice, STM’s President, started the business over 13 years ago. Troy is an alum of Appalachian State University. He is very involved in the Charlotte business community and is a proud member of the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club.

When Troy is not working. He enjoys motorcycle riding and spending time with his wife Patty and their children. They enjoy traveling together in their motor-​home. Troy is very active in the community and is involved with several area non-​profit agencies.
