History

Established in 1999.

The Joint was originally founded in 1999 by a Doctor of Chiropractic with a vision to transform the traditional, often misunderstood concept of routine chiropractic care by making it more convenient, friendly and affordable.

In March 2010, The Joint was re-​founded with the acquisition of the original eight franchised clinics. In five short years, The Joint… the chiropractic place® has grown to a nationwide network of more than 250 clinics and counting.

We are the leader in delivering chiropractic care, performing more than two million spinal adjustments a year.

We’re excited to announce our new, permanent doctor — Dr. Laura Peterson!

Dr. Peterson received her Doctorate degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Iowa.

Nutritional wellness and preventative healthcare are two of her top priorities. She is passionate about fitness, eating right, and thinking well. And she empowers patients to take an active role in their own health.

Dr. Peterson has already performed over 10,000 adjustments in the Charlotte area, in last year alone.
