Terrible customer service with uncompetitive prices. They tell you to bring your car in for service, then when you drive to get there, they tell you that they don’t have time to see you. On top of that, they are rude and overpriced. A simple synthetic oil change and tire rotation is $ 40 more here than anywhere else in the area. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes into Harrisburg and go to Pepboys.

Worst customer service ever. STAY AWAY! Save yourself the headache! Every time I’ve come here, the guy at the front has been beyond rude to me, as if I’m an inconvenience. My last oil change there took 2 hours to complete!

Slow slow slow. Took two hours to do a 15 min oil change. And no they weren’t busy 2 vehicles in a 8 vehicle bay. Customer service is pretty bad as well. Overall don’t waste our time.

I have been to Tuffy’s twice and have had zero done to my vehicle. Today, I thought I would give them a shot for a basic NC Inspection. I was stopped before I got to the door by a staff member who physically grabbed me to let me know they didn’t have a time for inspections available until 3 pm. I would have to think he saw my registration in hand. No problems. I might have considered coming back but I just have a very difficult time believing they are in the habit of physically grabbing their customers. Even moreso, do they grab male customers in the same manner to inform them that they are busy that day? Vehical inspections are an annual requirement and I have been driving for many, many years. This is the first time I have been physically turned around at an inspection station and I seriously hope it will be the only time.

Not enough people working at this locations for as many bays as they have for servicing! Waited over an hour for an inspection and ended up leaving. Manager maybe? was talking on phone about another customer and in a very rude manner. Will not be going back.

I was worried about having my brakes done at Tuffy after reading the negative reviews from fellow Unilocalers. While I waited for my quote, I spoke to a woman in the waiting room, who was a repeat and happy customer. The quote came back and was affordable, and they promised I’d be done in 90 minutes.
90 minutes later (almost to the minute), my car was done, and I was on my way. Sometimes you gotta take a chance on a business that doesn’t have shininig reviews. I’m glad I did.

THE WORST car experience ever. I simply had squeaking brakes I went to them and they charged me $ 278. I was skeptical but willing to pay for a quality job. 2 days later my brakes and car sounded worse then it did the first time I went, I go back and they charge me an EXTRA $ 350. In less than a week!!! They said when they fixed my front brakes for $ 278 it messed up my back brakes and that I couldnt drive my which basically forced me to get them done their. I will NEVERRRR come back. Ladies they will rip you off. They told a friend of mine they purposely rip off females, stay away!!!

Simple oil change was the desire and told them thats all I wanted them to do up front. Grief and dissapointment was what I got. Took way longer than estimated. Every person to come through got the talk about what was needed extra in a high pressure way. Same for me. Told my rotors were paper thin and they wouldn’t just «pad slap» them or my brakes might explode out on the highway. Really? Never asked them to check the brakes. Told them no to heir high dollar fix. Went home and checked them with some calipers and they were within tolerance and looked fine (no scoring apparent). Told my air filter was filthy and badly needed replacement (at their much inflated parts price). I never asked them to check this. Anyway I checked the air filter 2 days before (not filthy at all) and bought a Fram replacement (just hadn’t put it in yet). Well the butthead mechanic broke one of the tabs off to the housing when putting it back on. Doh! Thanks Tuffy for the new problem you caused on something I didn’t want checked! They should rename this place «Tuff Luck».
My advice: STAY AWAY!!!
