Decided to use the salon service since they were offering 25% off for new customers. When I showed up no one was there to greet me. Stood around waiting for at least 5 min with store staff staring at me but not offering to help. Some one finally showed up to greet me and I found out my stylist had called in sick. No one bothered to notify me. Needless to say I will never go back!

I love Ulta but the customer service there at Rivergate needs some improvement. I took my daughter to get her brows done. After standing waiting on anyone to help us we went to the front to ask for help. I was told that the person who does them who was standing there actually had just finished for the day. I asked if she wouldn’t mind just doing them real quick and I promised a big tip. Response was sorry I just clocked out. So I said I guess I will have to go elsewhere thinking surely they won’t let a sale walk out the door. Well they did. Just said «sorry». Well that gave me the opportunity to go to the new European wax center there in the same shopping center. Much more
Professional and best of all less expensive. I will buy my makeup at Ulta but not likely to use any other services they offer.

I agreed with the previous Unilocaler. Im a big fan of Ulta. You should see my collection of makeup. I’m an addict for sure. I didn’t quite care for the customer service there. It’s a hit or miss. First time there, a rep greeted me and I ask if she can show me where Too Faced Melted Lipstick. I wanted a specific color. They were out. She seem annoyed now that she have to look thru inventory and can’t really suggest a dupe. Or suggested anything else. After looking for a min or so. She said they were out and walked off. Well ok then. 2nd visit was the same thing. They seem to give a good 1st impression but if you’re asked for help. They seem annoyed. So I don’t bother them anymore when I go in there. I will find it myself. Lawd, I can’t imagine if someone who actually needs some guidance.

I am a huge Ulta fan and was extremely excited that there was a store opening up in Rivergate! I love products and trying new makeup so when I went to inquire about a new foundation I was blown away by the unprofessionalism that I recieved from one of the employees. She would ask me a question and then roll her eyes at me. I have never been made to feel like that in my own life let alone as a customer. She really lost her company a few sales… I dont blame Ulta for the poor service but I do hope that this never happens to anyone else…

I went to Ulta to get a makeup application done for my sister’s engagement. I didn’t know anyone who went so I wasn’t sure the outcome of it. However, at the end of my application I was sold on coming back! Shawn did such a great job applying the makeup and telling me what he was doing at every stage. He was receptive towards my concerns and told me if I don’t like anything just say because that makes him better. I have to say he did an awesome job! From the eyes, to the foundation to the lips, everything was on point for me & I LOVED it. He also used the products in the store & the line that I use to accommodate my needs. If you’re looking to get great service and come out looking like a model go to Ulta and request Shawn. He’s great!
