Two older barbers are great, but they are overshadowed by the younger barber who has some serious issues noted by other reviews. He is unprofessional, rude, sporadic, and gives horrendous haircuts. A cancer, like this guy, must be cut out before the whole business suffers.

Just got a terrible haircut by an obvious meth head. Chopped at my hair, razor in hand, with reckless abandon. All the while he was bitching in a thick country twang about some lowdown customer named Wayne who complained to his boss that he stopped in the middle of Wayne’s haircut to take a smoke break. Three times during my haircut he dropped the comb/​scissors on the ground and picked them up to keep going. He also called out the old barber next to him for dropping a dime on him to his boss about the Wayne situation, but all will be forgiven soon because tomorrow starts a new year. His trashy girlfriend-​sister brought him food from the microwave and tried to feed him while he hacked away at my head and he told her to raise the hell up while he was tryin’-a work. Seemed like a solid dude. Oh also he told me the following he had a .45 pulled on him recently when he got out of his car to confront a guy who cut him off in traffic; this was in front of his girlfriend’s daughter, who promptly dropped a dime on him to Grandma. When I asked him if he’d ever had a gun pulled on him prior to that, he said, «Yeah, been pistol whipped a few times and been shot in the back but I’m a single parent with a 15 year-​old to support so I gotta cut that hair.» (???) But don’t worry: where he comes from, don’t no white people go out after dark. (???)
I think he was a little distracted. The haircut is atrocious.

Best place to get a classy country style haircut!
It’s very local barbershop, but they are still very welcoming even if it’s your first time.
I asked for .5 inch on top, .25 inch on sides, and they made it exactly how I wanted.
I paid $ 15 for the haircut, which was a decent price.
Very friendly and congenial since they made me laugh the whole time!!!
I’m definitely gonna come back soon!

I had medium length hair and got «the standard haircut» and asked for about 1.5 in off. well they took off more like 2 but it looks good and the barber put a ton of care into the cut and even straight razored around my ear. This is a great place for a traditional male haircut but if you’re looking for a certain style or modern haircut you should look else where.

If you go here go with Ed or Jack. The younger guy near the entrance is not your typical friendly barber. Little bit of a jackass.

Took two little boys in who needed «medium regulation» haircuts. Finally a good haircut! They had been to the best salons in C’ville and several barbers around the state and their haircuts ranged from choppy to bowl shaped. I realize fine, 3 year old and 18 month old hair is a challenge, but these folks know what to do and how to handle it.
