We measure, fabricate and install so there is no need for a ‘middleman’ to coordinate these services, alleviating the possibility of mistakes and keeping overall costs down. We also sell blinds, cellular and roller shades and shutters. We can provide fabric and a full line of drapery hardware and accessories. Draperies Etc. has been in business for 28 years providing creative solutions for window treatments in the Charlottesville area.

When my children were young I was trying to find a way to make an income in the home and decided to use my sewing skills to make window treatments. I began working with local designers and as my children grew more independent my business flourished. It has been such a pleasure meeting and working with so many interesting people in this wonderful community.
