History

Established in 2005.

Let me start by saying I love photography. My passion started when documenting my family life. I was taking pictures at every family event and doing photo shoots for every Christmas card. I started with a small DSLR and when I upgraded, and took courses, I fell more in love. I realized that photographs can make a difference. Such that in 2003, when traveling in Indonesia, my photographs helped tell a vilages’ story, which in turn helped them get access to micro-​financing. I was hooked and since then have documented people’s stories in over 50 countries in all seven continents.

When it comes to photography, capturing life, emotions and details, I am a perfectionist. I take pride in my work and want to tell your story in a visually compelling way. I would love to be your LIFE photographer-​document your engagement, wedding, your first borns, your family, your 20 year anniversary etc.

My work has been featured on CNN and National Geographic and I was a top 10 finalist in Smithsonian Magazine’s 10^th annual photo contest. I have served as a judge for several photography contests and love all aspects of photography! I have been fortunate to capture peoples stories in over 50 countries in all 7 continents.

I recently recently got married in Charlottesville, VA and now more than ever, I enjoy hearing people’s love stories and helping capture their life through pictures. I am not your typical 9 – 5 guy-​I fully commit to the project we work on together. I recently made the move to Charlottesville from Washington DC, however my services are offered worldwide
