History

Established in 1977.

Over the past 36 years, Wilson School of Dance has earned the highest esteem and respect locally, statewide and nationally by training outstanding technical and artistic dancers. We love the art of dance, and are excited to share it with dancers of all ages, styles and skill levels. Our goal is to provide a friendly and nurturing atmosphere for you or your child to explore dance styles and learn about music.

Juanita W.

Business Owner

Juanita holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from the prestigious Butler University — Jordan College of Fine Arts, and has over 35 years of experience as a full-​time instructor, director and choreographer. She has trained in the country’s finest schools, including the American Ballet Theater, North Carolina School of the Arts and the Broadway Dance Center. Juanita’s greatest reward as a teacher and choreographer comes from seeing eyes that light up like magic when the step is correct and the feel of it is just right. She loves helping others experience the joy of dance, and looks forward to meeting you or your child.
