Fuse Martial Arts is a 2000 square foot training studio. Don’t let the size of the gym fool you, we are in a growing phase and the instruction is top notch. The gym is fully matted with 2″ seamless grappling mat for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as a state of the art hanging heavy bag system. We also employ the use of various other training tools, such as focus mitts, Thai pads and the like. The room is mirrored on 3 walls, which greatly helps students fine tune their technique by actually seeing themselves in action.

History

Established in 1995.

Don Richard holds a 2^nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a black belt in Judo and is an accomplished Muay Thai fighter and a life long wrestler.

He is a pro MMA fighter with over 20 fights and is one of the areas most experienced competitors and Instructors. Don has been teaching Martial Arts for 15 years and has now devoted himself to teaching full time. Although Don was a great competitor himself he is most proud of the accomplishments of his students. Don has trained many successful competitors with many championships to their credit in prestigious events such as the UFC, IBJJF Jiu Jitsu Championships, Bellator, Strike Force, King of the Cage, TXC and many more.

Now retired from professional fighting Don has dedicated his life to teaching everything he has learned in the arena and on the mats. Having studied under world renown instructors Carlos «Caique» Elias and Matee «Dragon Leg» Jedeepitak not only can he fight but he can teach. Don has been teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA for 15 years and Muay Thai for 6 years. Teaching and training in some of the biggest and most successful academies in the midwest has given Don the experience and patience it takes to be a highly qualified instructor. Don and the team at Team Caique Jiu Jitsu have some of, if not the most sought after instruction in the area.

Headed up by Master Carlos «Caique» Elias a 7^th degree coral belt under Helio and Rickson Gracie. One of the highest ranked Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors in the world!
