Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services is located in the heart of historic, downtown Chaska in a quiet, friendly, family atmosphere. We have been serving the Chaska community and the surrounding area of Chanhassen, Victoria and Carver for over 50 years. It is our sincere desire to serve our families with the utmost dignity and respect.

The funeral service represents our instinctive wishes to honor our loved ones and comfort the bereaved. When a loved one dies, families need to make some very difficult and emotional decisions. Business Owner

Matt has been with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services since 1992. He was employed by Jon Bertas for 13 years prior to purchasing the funeral home in 2005. He grew up in Warren, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science. Matt and his wife Mercy live in Chanhassen. In his spare time he enjoys working out at Lifetime Fitness and spending time with family and friends. He has volunteered his time as a counselor at Camp Amanda Minnesota and also enjoys supporting the Chaska Cubs baseball team.
