Awesome food! Great service. Food is fresh, organic and homemade. Chaska is lucky to have this place. Breakfast reminds me of the Original Pancake House: Fresh squeezed juices, delicious hearty pancakes, a great breakfast burrito, etc. Everything is good.

Super fresh ingredients. The pancakes are hearty, the omelette safe made to order and the hash browns are the real deal. This is a Chaska gem.

This place is not bad, It is a typical diner with a 50s era look. I ordered a cheese burger, my dining companion ordered an omelet. The burger was not bad, but also was not great. It was a little over cooked. The fries did not really stand out. My dining companion enjoyed the omelet. There was definitely a lot of food on his plate. Prices were reasonable.
It looked like they were in the middle of a remodel. I found it amusing that they had a little play area for kids.

Finally decided to come give this place a try since it switched from Egg and Pie. Incredibly disappointed. Service was awful and we ended up walking out because nobody was paying any attention to us. The «interim» menu is sad to say the least. It has been months since they have opened their doors and they still have their wait staff saying «oh and we might not be able to make French fries». For the love of Pete just don’t have French fries on your menu if getting a fryer is too much of a hassle. Breakfast menu was incredibly over priced and lacking variety. If I want just eggs and toast, I’ll stay home. If you are not ready to be a fully functioning diner, keep your doors closed. A lot of people are wasting their time by going here and seeing that there is little to nothing being offered. Not to mention the less than mediocre staff. It’s easy to see why Perkins is keeping all of the business when it comes to breakfast crowds.

This place was TERRIBLE! We had a large group, 4 kids and 4 adults, and no one got their food at the same time. We waited forever to be waited on and when the young kid came out with our drinks he said «i don’t know who ordered what «and just dropped everything on the table. 2 people in our group got their food 20 mins before the rest of us while our other food was under the heat lamps. Again, the young kid said he didn’t even know if it was our order when we asked. The food was awful. The best part was the diet coke. DON’T RECOMMEND.

Awesome Diner! Great food and friendly staff. They are in transition as they fully open but their menu is great Diner fare. We’ll made and great portions. Finally a great Diner in Chaska!

Excellent food, excellent service. Hours expanding. Bathrooms clean and modern, peaceful music, pleasant lighting, children’s corner. Gluten free options, mostly organic food. Delicious! We had the Goddess Greens salad and tuna melt– they were both delightful. Not heavy, not greasy. I highly recommend enjoying a wonderful meal here!

Wow, what a gem! Our breakfast was delicious! I had the breakfast burrito, and my lady had pancakes and hashbrowns. The proprietor was wonderfully friendly and happy to have us there. We’ll definitely be back!

Just had a great breakfast at the Chaska City Diner. Fresh squeezed orange juice, cage-​free eggs, homemade jam. Friendly, attentive staff. Our little one loves the kids corner. All around great experience! We will be back!

Initially I was sad to see that Egg and Pie had closed down, but then I tried this place and I’m in love! The coffee is great, food is fresh (and largely organic!), the service is friendly, and the owner is nice as can be. Do yourself a favor and check it out! I recommend the breakfast burrito bowl especially.
