Let me just say my Husband and I had lunch there we will never return. The food is terrible I had the veggie burger my Husband had clam chowder. Don’t bother if you like good quality food it’s not the place to go.

Yesterday we had lunch here. I ordered the lobster roll & my husband had the meat ball sub. He managed to eat his sandwich but said it was tasteless and the cheese was burnt. The lobster roll was the worst lobster roll I have ever had. The lobster tasted like it came out of a can, really awful. We paid the bill but before I left the premises I went inside to see the manager. I only saw the waitresses so I told them about my lobster roll. The response from the wait staff was«you are not the first person to say this.» No offer was made to refund the money & I didn’t ask for one. Needless to say we will never go back and we will tell our friends & family about our experience. Elizabeth

Dont bother coming here as a foreigner. Im 39 years old and was refuses entry as i only had my foreign driving license But not my passport. According to state law non-Massachusetts US residents and foreigners need to ID with a passport. My five Americans friends from Texas were allowed in using their US driving license though, but my driving license wasn’t accepted. Their loss, the place was empty anyway. Racist place.

It couldn’t have been worse. I ordered a fish sandwich, because we’re at the Cape after all, and I thought the fish would be good. It was soggy to the point of being inedible. The side salad tasted like it had been prepared months ago and left uncovered in the fridge to pick up the flavor and odor of everything in there. I could only take a couple of bites. I left hungry.

Nice little sports bar/pub. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the dinner we ate here on our recent(3⁄12) trip to the Cape.

Absolutely gross — do not waste your time. Bartender poured beer and it had large chunks of sediment floating. I quickly asked for a bottled beer — food was gross somehow messed up fish and chips and cooked burger well done instead of medium! Do not waste your time.

This casual bar and restaurant is a good place for a relatively inexpensive and decent meal. The tortilla chips for the nachos are very good, and the toppings meet expectations. My husband liked the hamburger he ordered and my son the wings. A good place for a local beer or a basic glass of wine and some dependable bar food.

Consistently good, limited permanent menu but always interesting specials on the board. We’ve had great burgers, chili, and shepard’s pie. Expect to wait in the summer as this place is quite small.

Cute little joint. Stopped in for lunch, nice menu, good food, good prices. I love a place that is active on social media. I checked in on FB and they commented on my post. Kudos to a place keeping up with technology!

I was working up the road with 5 others. Walked about a mile to place a to go order for the 6 of us. The manager refused me because it was to busy. He was rude and tried to brush me off. I believe a sale is a sale and I would have gladly waited for the order. I’ve never eaten here and I was really looking forward to trying it. Never again will I ever try to go here.

Enjoyed lobster appetizer. Burgers were terrible. They were so busy and understaffed. Have not returned.

We went here for the Pats game and dinner on our weekend away and were really disappointed. The apps ordered were bad. The waiter spilled salsa on my wife’s leg. No help cleaning it up & they were in such a hurry they served us borderline raw chicken. The bartender was mean and the atmosphere was not friendly. The only good thing was the game viewing was adequate. Potential to be a good place under new ownership. Signed disappointed tourist.

Popped in for a beer and a bite. Nice selection of taps, bar staff was friendly and service was timely. Ordered the jerk chicken wrap –would have liked it spicier but realize you need to accommodate the masses. Fries were hot and crispy !

Great burgers, exactly what you hope to get. Large, juicy, rare if you asked for it.

Stopped in for dinner after a long drive up from New Jersey. Very busy Saturday night and we were told there was a 25 minute wait. We agreed and within a couple of minutes our table was ready. Strange. We were seated outside on the patio. The inside has a small seating area with a bar. When we first sat down, we waited a while before a waitress came over to us. We noticed the tablecloth on our table was torn and wet in spots. I had the fish and chips, my wife had the jerk chicken wrap, and my daughter had a cheeseburger. They allow you to substitute a salad or onion rings for the fries for a small fee. I ordered a beer with a hint of grapefruit. Cold and tasty! The fish and chips were a nice surprise. They advertise the cod fish as lightly fried and it was. It wasn’t greasy and the fries that came with it weren’t greasy either. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty. My wife was very pleased with her jerk chicken and my daughter’s burger was good even though It didn’t hold up well in the English muffin bun. All the portions were very respectable. We didn’t get the standard«how is everything» during our meal. The service was ok considering how busy they were. The price was very fair. $ 62 which included the tip.

I’m mixed about this place. Very limited seating so you’re more than likely going to have to wait. If you do have to wait there is plenty of room to grab and drink and go outside on the porch, but not so much on the inside. We were seated out side where you literally have to use a flashlight to read the menu because it’s so dark, which is whatever I didn’t really care. I got a turkey burger and fries, the fries were excellent and the turkey burger was pretty good too. The service was pretty bad, they only had one waitress outside and she had a hard time keeping up with her tables. This place is decent if you want to grab a drink or meal in Chatham without spending a fortune.

We really enjoyed the Red Nun. Everyone from the hostess, to the waitresses to the bus boy were super friendly. We had great service on both visits. The food was all delicious too. We tried several different sea food dishes. The kids liked it too. They also have a great beer selection and a cool bar. The did run out of Blue Hills Brewery Watermelon on our second visit but that’s the only negative. Great little — it is small inside with only 6 or 7 tables and about the same amount of outside seating. Check it out!

We are vacationing on the cape again this year. We have come every year for years and Chatham is a great town. Interestingly enough my family and I have not been to the red nun in a large group. What a fun place to come with a big group. We had drinks and appetizers. The beer list was just the right length and the nachos were delicious :) we had a great server who was sooo friendly and made the experience even better. Fun outside seating and close to the ball park! A win win !

This was a great post-4th of July party location… but get there quick! Burger was great. Fish tacos were less than expected-missing something. Chowder was decent and the chili was hearty. Not a bad spot for a quick bite on a quieter day. The 4th party overwhelmed the«facilities» and all draught beers were ‘out’. Will go back and give the Nun another try on another day.
