Ciggys 4 Less

I have been going to ciggy 4 less now for 4 years now, in the Santa Clarita valley and the Antelope valley but unfortunately they had to close those stores… But now I have to drive 74 miles round trip to purchase the best cigarettes I hate when I run out of them :(I have too go buy the nasty cigs… But it’s nice to come see great people who there and especially the owner

Nice people, great prices. Only downside you need a place to roll the cigs. Worry not, there is a place less than a mile away.

Intriguing idea. I began with Ciggys 4 Less at their Sepulveda Blvd, Van Nuys location. The employees have always been great. Their machinery is another matter. There is not, nor has there been any consistency. You weigh the cigarettes as they are pushed out of the filler. Low 100’s weight means they burn rather quickly. As they become «heavier» they burn more slowly and can eventually become like sucking on a solid stick. I used the Sepulveda location until they «lost their lease». I used the Sherman Circle location until I began frequenting the Chatsworth location because it fit my travel patterns better. I had begun using the Santa Clarita Valley location as I have regular business there, until I found they were gone this week. «Members» email addresses were collected, yet there was no warning the store front would close, hence my trip out of the way, taking time and having to fight traffic to discover the signs on the closed doors. Back to the machinery… adjusting the fillers results in the same inconsistent filling as not adjusting it. Some cigarettes are so light they burn fast and hot like a fuse. Others are so tightly packed, they don’t draw and are difficult and unpleasant to smoke. This is not an isolated occurance as I have experienced it at all four locations, with every machine I have used and even after requesting assistance from the employees, who, again, have always been ready and willing to help however they can. When the locations were local and easily utilized, the few dollars of price savings were attractive. Supposedly, their tobacco is «organic» and does not contain all the «contaminants» commercial cigarettes contain. A new wrinkle is at the Chatsworth location, you buy your tobacco and tubes then have to drive a mile or so to a warehouse location in an industrial park area to fill them, as if you’re doing something illegal or immoral. NOT convenient at all! I asked how to contact the owner and was told there was no way, so I’m using this review to let the powers that be how incredibly bad they have made their business for regular customers. Now the locations are either 16 miles or 40 miles round trip from my home. The product isn’t consistent and attempting to get the machinery to produce some consistency is frustrating as can be. Add having to drive to an additional location AFTER buying the necessary components, then walking to the rear of an isolated industrial strip mall just to complete my transaction and I think this is the last time I will be using Ciggys 4 Less. Other than the inconsistency of the filling, I have no complaints about the tobacco. I have NO complaints about any of the employees. I have strong complaints about an owner/​management team who seems to delight in making it as inconvenient as possible to retain regular customers. Compared to what I was purchasing from my local tobacco shop, Ciggys 4 Less was saving me about $ 4 a carton. That doesn’t come near paying for the gas, wear and tear on my vehicle, my time nor my frustration with their awful machinery. Thanks Ciggys 4 Less, it was almost good while it lasted.

Half the price of your regular carton and always fresh tobacco. Not to mention chemical, preservative, and additive free… Not even American spirits can say all that! Plus the staff is AWESOME! ;D

If you are looking for more ways to save money (who isn’t) then Ciggys the place to replace your brand of cigarettes are about 85% to your name brand… The one thing that is good about Ciggys is the no chemicals, after I smoked them for 3 days I felt like I detox from no chemicals and less coughing… I also found that I was smoking less because they are more satisfying… I know that cigarettes are not good for you at all but without chemicals you are at least a little healthy…
