Our Mission

Lucidity is defined as the «capacity to perceive the truth directly and instantaneously.» Our mission is twofold– to provide the community of Chattanooga with the tools to perceive the truth of their own lives, and through this perception, revitalize their pursuit of happiness; and to provide the future of holistic medicine in both the psychological and physiological dimensions.

Lucidity: Float Center of Chattanooga is a local business composed of Chattanooga natives and best friends since preschool, Jack Kelle and Brandon Rakowski, and the entrepreneur king Micah Sparacio. Lucidity is the first float center for Chattanooga and is at the forefront of the holistic health industry, and offers genuine sensory deprivation and hyperbaric medicine. Lucidity is overseen by medical director, Dr. Carey Nease, and internationally renowned psychologist, Dr. Ralph Hood, who is one of a small handful of psychologist who have studied sensory deprivation academically. Lucidity is one of the few float centers in the country to be managed by such qualified medical personnel, and as such we are the first and only ‘therapeutic center’ according to the Tennessee state health code guidelines.
