Just got done eating the chicken teriyaki and gyoza special for 7.95. Simply perfect! For the price and friendliness of the girl at the front desk even though she was slammed, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a rainy Wednesday night for dinner! Chicken was cooked perfect and so was the rice. Please keep in mind that I’ve been working in the Food biz for 20 years, from fast food to fine dining. Cook to Executive Chef to Dining room and bar manager, I’ve seen a lot! And I will be back soon! Probably on my next day off…

Reheat teriyaki to order. They do not cook it to order. If you dig microwaved food this is your place. I am not so I won’t be back.

Quick service and good food, pretty basic but worth going back for. Price is comparable to other teriyaki restaurants. Location is convenient for quick on/off I-5 access or take your time and check out the other stores in the shopping center.

Love this place. As a vegan it was great to find several vegan options. The tofu stir fry is excellent and you can get brown rice. Service is friendly and fast. No ms either.

While waiting for tire service at the nearby Walmart, we grabbed lunch at the only non-fast food option– teriyaki! Service was friendly and she seemed to remember all the regulars by name. Food was good– sort of typical PNW teriyaki menu with meals including meat, rice, and veggies. I had the spicy chicken at spicy level 4, which was the highest on their scale. I like spicy, so if I’m ever eating here again, I’ll ask for an 8… The beef teriyaki reminded me of the teriyaki you get at plate lunch restaurants in Hawaii– the teriyaki sauce is on the sweeter side.

I don’t know what the other reviewers are complaining about, I think this is the best Teriyaki place in Lewis County! I eat here quite a bit and have enjoyed every meal. The yakisoba is excellent, as is the stir fry vegetables(choice of meat if desired), and the standard teriyaki chicken/beef/pork is delicious. The staff makes the place even better, some of the friendliest people I know. All in all this place is excellent and if you’re in the mood for some teriyaki stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

The lady at the counter was nice, but the food was not so nice. Didn’t taste right for some reason. Really only went here because I was running into the store next door and decided to try it. Ended up leaving and going to the Applebees across the street after.

Dunno what happened here but lets just say that the bathroom at my work should have been cordoned off after me and my co-workers came back for an «emergency session» in them after eating at Kobo. All three of us had chicken teriyaki, rice, and stir fry vegetables. All three of us were in a meeting shortly afterwards and started sweating and hearing each others stomaches gurgle. One by one we each slunk off to take care of business. NOTGOOD. My stomach was not right for the rest of the day. Not sure what happened but obviously it wasn’t good for any of us. Contamination of some kind obviously occurred. I have been there before, not because I like it, but because my coworkers do. The portions are ok, except for veggies, which is like a tablespoon. The prices arent so great compared to other teriyaki places and the meals DONT include soup. No refills on the 2.00 medium pop either. Well, unless you want to pay 50. Irritating to say the least. The bathrooms are abysmally gross. I am pretty sure the floors havent seen a mop in over a few months. Not to mention that the open/curtain door to the kitchen is immediately adjacent to the bathroom. Ew. The staff is nice. I will give it a star for that. Pretty sure I wont be going back here. I would suggest skipping it and heading down to Happy Teriyaki down the road.

We happened on this place the other night and were delighted that we did. It’s pretty plain on atmosphere and décor, but it’s good on food. The plates come full and tasty and at a price that makes it all feel perfect. We’re always looking for something that isn’t fast food but can be picked up and taken home or comfortable to eat-in even when you’re not really dressed to eat-out. This is it. Convenient, clean, friendly, lots of good food, we’ll be back — often.
