For $ 150 dollars a night no in-​room dining services?! I wish I knew that, check in time is 4:00pm, no bang for your buck at all, I’ve paid hookers less, ;) nothing in their binder is in house, not the spa, nor the restaurants,

Worst Memorial Day experience. Front desk staff was extremely rude every time we needed assistance. Worst situation was when returned our bracelets and asked for new ones and the girl said we were going to be charged 200, when the sign on he counter said 100 fee was only when you lose the bracelet. After talking to her supervisor and wasting our time, we said if you have a different policy then change your sign. We ended up giving our room to a family we met at the pool because we couldn’t stand staying at this horrible establishment another night. Someone should let them know they are in the hospitality business. they didn’t quite seem to understand that. The pool servers were very kind though. Biggest waste of 1000 dollars. Take your money elsewhere!

If I could give negative stars, I would!!! Don’t ever stay here. They are the absolute worst. Save yourself the money!

Terrible, terrible customer service. Drove 6 hours to find out the fire has blown all power out at lake chelan. This place lacked customer service. Did not help anyones needs or answer any questions. Booking rooms at a rate of 400 plus a night to only be left with a push to leave. People at the front office are inconsiderate, lack of empathy and no value to their customers. We are their guest and pay hard earn money to find out this place is a joke. Will never ever book this place again. They promised a reimbursement of the funds that will take a week back to recieve. Now we have the struggle to find a hotel with open bookings. I do not recommened this place at all!

I stayed here for a friend’s wedding a few weeks ago and really enjoyed my stay! Given I didn’t spent a ton of time at the hotel itself as we were out exploring Chelan. The room was pretty big, there was one bedroom, a kitchenette, murphy bed and a pullout couch. The pullout couch looked pretty uncomfortable but the murphy bed was totally comfortable. The room slept four of us very comfortably.
I loved how close the hotel was to downtown, we could walk pretty much anywhere in about five minutes which was great. Our room had a deck and faced the water so we had a great view of the lake which was really nice! There was a large pool, water slide and direct access to the lake with a bunch of chairs laid out on the beach. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chelan!

My father and I stayed here early April 2015. We were there for a father daughter golf trip. We stayed at the Grandview one night. In the morning before we departed I made a cup of tea in the microwave. When I went to open the door the handle slipped out of the bottom socket. You could tell that it had already been broken. I told the staff what had happened and they still charged my dad a damage fee. Our one night stay that was supposed to be $ 160 turned out to be $ 480 because they charged us for a microwave that we didn’t break. If you decide to stay here make sure you demand that one of the staff members goes through the room with you to make sure everything is in working condition. The way the management dealt with this situation was so unprofessional. Do not stay here.

We are locals and came the beginning of February. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was lovely. Our room was like a condo. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I usually bring my own pillow but this time I forgot and their pillows were a little lumpy. I suggest that you bring your own pillow if you do not want that to happen. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils so bring your own food and enjoy your room. The view was fantastic and it had a balcony. The heating system did not keep the room comfortable it was always hot so we opened the balcony door and turned off the heaters in the bedrooms. I would return again in the winter months when there is no one here It felt like home away from home.

Grandview is hands down one of my favorite places to stay in Chelan. I’ve been coming to Chelan over 20 years and have stayed at almost every hotel in town. (Lake House, Riverwalk Inn, Campbells, Lakeside Lodge & Suites, Wapato Point, The Cabanas at Lake Chelan, etc) Grandview is by far my favorite for a few reasons.
On several occasions my room has been ready early and I have been able to get a late check out. Most of the resorts in Chelan make you check in at 6pm (Wapato) and check out byy 10am, causing you to pay for the whole day and miss half a day! Not at Grandview!
The rooms at this resort are great for the price, even in the summer months. My favorite room is the King Jacuzzi Suite on the right side of the building when you enter. I believe there are 8 units on the side that have stunning water views. The rooms are nicely updated and very comfortable. The King Jacuzzi Suite has a nice mini bar area, very comfortable bed, beautiful patio and an amazing jacuzzi tub with fun lights! Definitely one of my favorites. I have reserved the one bedroom condo this summer for my wedding and can’t wait to see the room!
The pool area is nice. Not your typical rectangle boring pool. There is a slide and hot tub with walk up bar area where you can purchase food and drinks. If you’re not wanting to spend any money on food or drinks, they let you bring your own out! There is a ton of lounge chairs and a grassy area on the side of the pool you can use as well.
The resort is within walking distance of just about everything in town. The location is perfect!
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Chelan, try out Grandview! I won’t even consider staying anywhere else now.

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Grand View for a girls get away. We stayed in unit 610 (which we rented through the owner — through VRBO (vacation rentals by owner). The owner and the unit itself was pretty nice. The «resort» itself is what lost a few stars.
When we arrived, the young lady, «Cassie» working the front desk was rude and snobby. When we said we were there to check in she said, «Well I don’t have a reservation for you so, sorry» and acted like she was done helping. We assured her we had a reservation and told her what unit it was for. She stated, «I have no notes or anything for that unit, sorry there is nothing I can do and actually acted as if she was done with us. She was rude and unhelpful. There was no one else in the lobby and we couldn’t figure out why she was being so rude. I explained that I rented it through a private owner and offered to show her the email confirmation. She said, „that won’t help, I need to talk to the owners“. I called the owner, at 10:30 at night, and the owner then spoke to Cassie and it was cleared up in seconds. Thank God the owner answered right? She was sweet as pie to the owner, consequently. Then said .“you are in Allie’s unit». I told her I knew that — that was what I was trying to show her. I have no doubt she knew the entire time where we were but was just being lazy and rude about it, for some reason. Boredom? I dunno.
The room itself was clean and decorated nicely albeit small. I don’t think this would be a good choice for a family with kids. Just not enough space. Only 4 chairs around the dining room table.
The dryer handle was broken which caused us to have to call maintenance at 11pm to come open the door for us so we could get clothes out. We also had to call for a blanket for the hideabed. The murphy bed was actually comfortable but the hideabed was hard as a rock.
The hotel itself was lacking what you expect for a «resort» with the prices to stay here, especially in off season. The pool is newer but the water was disgusting and had big particles floating in it as if the filters weren’t working or ihadn’t been cleaned all summer. The water actually stunk to the point of none of us wanting to stay in the water. Same was true for the hot tub water. The hot tub itself is really a cool addition to the hotel but with the water the way it was it was disgusting.
The pool bar and café were closed the entire time we were there — on a weekend — when weather is still hot and lots of people at the hotel.
The dock where the lawn chairs sit had turf substance covering it and it is old and in need of repair. There were holes in the actual dock so sometimes when you stepped to walk your foot would start to fall through to be caught by the stretchy turf material.
There were people smoking outside of their units on the first floor so while we were laying out in the sun we constantly had to breathe in second hand smoke. There was no enforcement of smoking away from the building. We actually had people smoking 10 feet away from us while we were lying out trying to enjoy the sun and view of the lake.
They were out of pool towels by early afternoon and they were never replenished. There was a lot of duck and goose poop on the docks around the property so they went unused most the time.
The hotel is in a great location — close enough to walk into town within 5 minutes. We walked to dinner, Safeway, coffee, ice cream, you name it. Beautiful view of the lake as well.
All told, I am not sure we would come back here. Maybe if the price was right. As it is we paid 238 a night, which seems pretty high for what we actually got in return.
I would like to reiterate that the owner of 610 was very sweet, and easy to work with. The unit itself was nice, it is the hotel overall that I had a problem with.

Had a great stay. Nothing in the other reviews were a bother to me.
Price was good with the 25% off discount. Room was ready early and they came by to swap towels. I really liked having a good sized fridge and nobody told me i couldn’t drink my own personal drinks I was making. Pool was fun but lots of kids. Lake was fantastic!
Their final move was to let us know what traffic looked like on the way back to seattle. This earned them their 5^th star.
Oh, wifi was too weak to work.

I had a spectacular stay here. the accommodations were wonderful, and the price was pretty good considering the awesome location. We stayed in the King Jacuzzi room and I wouldn’t consider staying at Campbells’ after my two-​night getaway this past weekend… we were super impressed!
When we got to the resort, our room was all ready for us (at 1:30 in the afternoon.yay.) We were so excited at the wonderful water view and we were delighted with the style/​quality of everything. It felt pretty new and we appreciated the extra features like the fireplace (fake, but added a nice ambiance) granite countertops, large-​ish mini fridge and microwave. They even included packets of hot cocoa and cider, wine glasses, mugs, and a wine bottle opener.
The tub wouldn’t turn on in our room, and when we asked the front desk about it, they were friendly and promptly sent someone up to see what was up (turned out the breaker just needed to be flipped.)
The maids came by the next morning and gave us all the extra towels we needed, and we were never asked to dispose of our trash ourselves like some reviewers mentioned. (??)
The pool area was quite nice, and I liked that it wasn’t just a cement rectangle. The slide needed to be resurfaced, though (it was a bit too rough to slip down smoothly.) The hot tub was awesome and they had a pool bar with tons of drink and sandwich options. Though we didn’t try any of the items because they let you bring your own drinks to the pool (sweet!!) Lots of lounge chairs and islands floating out in the lake to lay on or dive off of too.
When we checked out, we were an hour late (oops) and the woman at the desk was super friendly and made no mention of our tardiness. She even gave us all of the construction updates and delays for the different routes we could take home. So nice!
This place gets a bad rap and I have no clue why. Don’t let the other reviewers deter you from staying here. we had a perfect stay, and is much cheaper than staying across the water at Campbell’s.

This is a Mickey Mouse establishment pretending to be a hotel. It’s an Anthony Melchiori & Hotel Impossible episode opportunity. Couldn’t have been less satisfied.
Specific issues include:
1) Outsource housekeeping. Day we attempted to check-​in housekeeping was largely a no-​show. Weren’t given access to room until approx. 6 pm. Posted check-​in time was 4 pm. NO soap nor laundry detergent provided & inadequate towel supply.
2) Overpriced — At $ 400/​night, this was a RIP OFF!
3) Inept /​untrained staff. Called before to check-​in to confirm amenities. Was told they were «too busy» to talk when Front Desk answered my call.
4) Make shift pool bar ran out of virtually everything. One sparcely toothed employee to take care of entire pool area. «Service» was slow. Drinks & food expensive
5) Indoor/​outdoor carpet in hallway access to rooms. GROSS!
6) Not ADA compliant — needed sharps disposal container for insulin needles. I called to confirm they had one. Was told they did. They did NOT! They told me to walk to adjacent hotel to use that hotel’s container.
Someone called after receiving my review and refused to credit any part of the stay including the $ 20/​day resort fee. He said he was merely calling to «apologize» for negative experience.
Do yourself a favor & stay elsewhere.

This place has gone down hill. There is NO management going on. Chairs are taken right in front of your hotel room. Boats pull up and park that are not even paying customers. When complaint called in I was told to report any one who does not belong on property. This is my vacation !!! Get cameras. .20 rooms have been added but there is less room for guests to enjoy the outside. We will not be staying again until we see an improvement in service

A group of my girlfriends and I booked a suite here for a long weekend getaway.
The suite itself was great for us! In addition to a view of the lake, there was a bedroom, full kitchen with a dishwasher, nice patio, free coffee, a Murphy bed and a pull-​out sofa bed. We were able to sleep 5 of us in there.
Pros:
— Great location.
— Nice staff.
— Good set-​up for groups of friends sharing a suite, and all the beds were comfortable.
— Clean and satisfactory upon arrival.
— Water slide and great access to the lake with plenty of seating.
— Kitchen was well-​stocked.
— Nice private patio.
— Free parking
Cons:
— We had to request maids to come in and take out our trash and get new towels.
— TERRIBLE WI-​FI.
— Bedroom was a sauna.
— Small bathroom.
— Lighting is dim.
— No screen on the door, so when we left the door open one evening while we were sitting on the patio, we awoke the next morning to HUNDREDS of gnats, dead, all over our dining table and in the sink of the bathroom.
— Our power cut out THREE times. Each time we were sitting on the couch and talking, no TV on or anything running except the lights and the Air Conditioning. Luckily, the circuit breaker is in the room and we just unplugged the AC for a few minutes each time and flipped it back on. But seriously annoying.
Overall, I think this was a great value. We weren’t expecting anything fancy, so this was satisfying. With some minor improvements on their part, this place could be great. That said, we’re looking forward to returning here next year.

My wife and I just returned from an impromptu long weekend in Chelan. I was able to get a room at the Grandview (a queen non view room was all that was available under short notice) for our three night weekend retreat. Both of us were very disappointed in the accommodations and the «resort» in general. This place would not make the grade if it were part of the motel 6 chain!
Let me explain:
1) the carpet in the room was so filthy and stained that we would not walk on it barefooted!
2) The lighting in the room was non existent! If the TV was off, it was impossible to see anything!
3) It turned out that our non view room actually did have a view, it was a view of the dumpster right outside our window!
4) upon arrival, I find out that there is no actual cleaning service (unless you pay extra for it). We did not get towels changed and we were expected to clean the coffee cups and empty the trash before checking out!
I will visit Chelan again… but not this place!

$ 50 off the first night’s stay.
That’s what you get for stained sheets on the king bed in the two bedroom suite.
Oh wait that’s not it, one lightbulb was missing from the bathroom, and the kitchen sink faucet was so loose that it leaked most of the time.
It’s sad really, the place was once such a nice hotel and not that long ago.

We made our annual trek to Chelan and again enjoyed our stay here. We had a larger two room suite, with couch, refrigerator and tv in one room. the bed, tub and tv in the other. Both rooms have a faux fireplace for a nice feel. The place is very quiet this time of year for a great romantic escape.
We enjoy that it’s only a quick walk across the bridge to downtown Chelan.
The only complaint is the lack of coffee cups in the room.
Rooms are very clean and up to date and the king sized bed was amazingly comfortable

I have to say I was quite nervous about our stay at Grandview on the Lake due to the polarized reviews on its Unilocal page. I don’t think I really checked the reviews before I booked it, which is so unlike me and while I like to take bad reviews with a grain of salt, staying at a hotel that has 2.5 stars on Unilocal for your first wedding anniversary can be a bit of a gamble.
Boy were we pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the annex side of the hotel in a King Jacuzzi room and it was wonderful! We didn’t have the nice panoramic lake view to the east but had a north view of Campbells and the rolling hills behind it, which was lovely as well. The room was immaculate and for $ 100 for two nights for the whole weekend, it was an absolute STEAL! I think the rooms were about worth $ 120 a night on a high end, which obviously is still quite cheap for a resort, but hey, it’s Chelan, not NYC. My husband and I couldn’t believe how great the room was for the price — but the front desk did tell us that summer rates were going to be instated just days later.
One weird thing though: It was nice to have a wine glass in the room… but just one. When we called to ask for a second one, they told me they didn’t have any more. What? How is this possible in wine country? We ended up having to buy one at a local store. Another time, we needed utensils and they couldn’t give me a straight answer if they had any forks left. They eventually got us what we needed, though.
I can see how Grandview got its low ratings from other Unilocalers, though. It seems that parts of the hotel is under renovation or something. There was a broken elevator and some stairwells seemed a bit janky. If you want to make a reservation with them, especially during the off-​season, I recommend asking them what their best rooms are and you will certainly avoid some of the horrors the other Unilocalers have experienced. I am glad I am not one of them.

Visited Grandview on 2 separate occasions. My first visit over a year ago I stayed overnight in a standard room with my then boyfriend before finding a campsite in the area (my goal was to camp). The standard room was a great deal at the time– $ 80 if I remember correctly, a price negotiated with the manager that was lower than their usual summer weekend rates. The air conditioning was wonderful, the room was clean and quiet. More recently, I stayed in Chelan celebrating a birthday last month. I and 3 friends stayed in a one bedroom suite (accommodates up to 6 people comfortably with no roll-​away needed).
I called back in January to book my April stay after purchasing a LivingSocial deal for a 2 night stay. Service on the reservation was wonderful– the staff member I spoke with gave me options, and asked the purpose of my trip to help me choose the best suite for my party. On arrival I was a little put off by the front desk staff– we were all tired and the greeting and check in could have been friendlier. However, they were nice enough to let me print the LivingSocial voucher I was using on their printer after saying I had to have a physical copy (not stated on the voucher anywhere). My party was given 2 keys, and away we went.
The suite itself was beyond my expectations! Full kitchen and a great patio, plus all the amenities you expect at a hotel (shampoo, coffee, etc.). There were some weird things like a broken cork screw in the utensil drawer and the shower dial not staying in place (this caused the temperature to fluctuate), but overall I felt we got a huge value. The suites have a bedroom with a queen size bed, plus a sofa bed and a murphy bed. The fireplace was neat as well, but took a while to figure out (you have to open it to turn it on).
All of that in addition to a fantastic view of the lake and access to a hot tub, work out facilities, and free certificates for apps and tastings at local wineries and restaurants made this a perfect stay! My one complaint would be that our last night there in the early morning it sounded like elephants were over our heads for hours. I’m not sure if there was no one in that space the day before or the cleaning people were really loud, but I’d recommend getting a room on the top floor in future if at all possible.
