Dave is amazing! He is thorough, does what he can to save you money, really knows his stuff, gives great customer service. We have been using him since we moved to Chelmsford a year and a half ago. I cannot say enough about how pleased we have been!

Best auto service I’ve ever experienced!!!
I just changed my job to Chelmsford, and I got some issue with my 2005 bmw 325i before changing the job. I’ve been to many different places to fix my car, even some other places near Expert Automotive… but trust me, Dave is the best ever! Very nice, professional, and timing. I usually drop off the car before work and pick it up after. They close at 5pm but he will be there working late even after 5:30. He can handle every single problem with the car, I got my windshield fluid leaking problem fixed, my head lights cleaned up… my remote could never open my trunk before and now it’s working great! He also replaced my window switch and lightbulbs for the trunk… fixed my messy wires… and from all the perfect job he’d done I got my inspection sticker right away.
And the most important part-​the price is pretty decent! If you are looking for someone professional that can really fix your car without any bs, go to Expert Automotive!!!

I noticed that this service station (Expert Automotive), near my home, was under new ownership so I thought I’d check it out. My first impression was that it was the cleanest shop I’d seen, having had vehicles serviced for my business in the past I’ve found this usually equates to a good owner, so this means a lot to me. I met Dave who took my job on short notice… even though his bays were full. He went above and beyond my request and in speaking with him I could tell he had a passion for his trade and business.
I’ll be confident referring friends and family to Dave’s shop!

Dave is great. Been fixing all my vehicles including my diesel truck for years. Very trustworthy and honest people.
I had a van once that would stall out constantly. My company sent it to the dealer a few times and they couldn’t figure it out, kept telling me there was nothing wrong with it. Dave was able to diagnose and repair the electrical issue in a few hours.

Stopped by for an oil change for my Prius — awesome experience! Very reasonable prices for both labor and parts (oil and filter at car parts store prices). In addition to the oil change mechanic did the inspection and educated me a bit about hybrids in general and Prius in particular. Definately will be back for oil change or repairs, if any,

My car was overheating and about to break down when I rolled into his parking lot at 5:30PM. While some mechanics might try to take advantage of the situation Dave graciously came out to look at the problem and spent about ½ hr trying to diagnose what the problem was to see if I could try to limp the car back to my house ~30 miles away. When it finally cooled off he was able to pinpoint the exact location of the cracked radiator. Not only did he fix my radiator but he also gave my car an entire look over to make sure there was nothing else wrong with it.
Not only did he pressure wash my engine to clean up all the dried up anti-​freeze that had exploded everywhere, but he found a nail in my tire, cleaned the corrosive material around my battery terminal, and noticed that a steel backing plate behind my rotor had been causing the awful squealing noise I had been hearing for a few weeks. He fixed all these things for free.
I was so happy I also had him change the original serpentine belts on the car that were due for a change anyway. At the end of the day, the price he gave me for all this work was less then the dealer’s price for the radiator part alone, nevermind what they would charge for the labor. That is pretty impressive when you think about it.

We needed a car mechanic at 7:30 on a Sunday night and it was open. Dave saved our lives by tightening the screws on the wheels and generously offered his services for free. I would definitely go back here and get all of my car work done by Dave.
