Over the weekend, my husband’s dad wanted us to go to a local furniture store to help pick out a beautiful yet practical chair he’d seen in the company’s Boston Globe ad. The only problem was that the building had no elevator… and a ton of stairs. My 88 year old father-​in-​law can only walk short distances with the aid of a couple of canes.
Werner, one of the owners, realizing his predicament, brought out three models of chair to the parking lot for him to test out. This meant he carried each chair (and ottoman) up one long set of stairs and down another set then out in the hot, sunny parking lot (and then return them). At 75 lbs per chair, it was no easy task. Now, THAT’S customer service!!! Needless to say, a beautiful chair and ottoman were purchased. We highly recommend them. Warner’s Mom, Annette is very knowledgeable regarding the product and she’s a delight to work with.
