I decided to find this on my own and did not take long i got there early and no line lot of flavors to choose from i picked something odd, but then again i like weird flavors mixed together i got the peanut butter oreo with some hot fudge just one scoop to try the ice cream was just ok, it didnt wow me, it was edible, but thats it the hot fudge didnt have that chocolately fudgy taste I am looking for was dissapointed. Prices are reasonable and a few benches to sit or in your car there is an atm there for folks who didnt bring cash. but nice place though to have the ice cream stand, in a nice residential neighborhood.

Why? Why get rid of something that makes you unique, Sully’s?! I would choose to go to Sully’s over other ice cream stands solely based on their homemade waffles cones. Sure it was out of my way to go here, but I didn’t care. I would even go just for a waffle cone, because they were that awesome. At my latest trip to Sully’s I was handed a Joy waffle cone, which is fine, but I can get that anywhere. I asked the girl at the counter and she confirmed they stopped making the homemade ones. Sooo, I probably will just go elsewhere from now on.

After waiting on line for a while, I was finally next only to find out that the high-school student working there called her 4 friends over cutting me to give them free ice cream. Not only did she call them over and serve them free ice cream, they found the time to socialize and continue small talk while I was still waiting. Not impressed!

I pulled in to Sully’s because I was just driving by so tried a small cup of M&M and it was definitely small and the color of the ice cream was yellow so at first I thought what did I just spend money on. The ice cream tasted delicious and the M&Ms were fresh and plentiful unlike the stale chalky ones you get at Sullivan Farms in Tyngsboro. I was pleasantly surprised.

Just changed to 2 stars in 2016. They now have pre bought waffle cones! Im so disappointed, im now going to Kimballs. It’s such a shame, Sully’s used to be top notch. 2015 post … They are always out of waffle cones. 5 out of the last 5 times which is kind of ridiculous. Why even have a sign staying they have them? The owners must not care. Anyway, they serve Richardson ice cream which is excellent and is why I didnt give them 1 star. The girls behind the counter are always nice there also.

Not much more to say than we still love it. Gigantic portions and a good variety, plus reasonable length lines means we’ll be back again and again.

Better than Kimball’s? Absolutely not, no way! That’s preposterous! Supermarket bought ice cream is better. Stopped here with my family, figured we’d give it a try since it’s been years. Where to start… portions are horrible, the flavor of the actual ice cream is lacking and they can’t even get soft serve right — it tasted very artificial. The stand and grounds are a pit. Save yourself the disappointment and drive a few more miles to Kimball’s in Westford — if you have an issue with the lines got to Carlisle. This place is just all around a giant bucket of fail.

Excellent ice cream choices and flavors. We had the bubble gum flavor(awesome), Milky Way(the best) and Heath bar crunch(excellent) and caramel cashew(just right!). All in all, a good local ice cream spot!

Sully’s is a good local ice cream place. I go there all the time with my friends. It’s a good place just to chill and hang out. They sell all sorts of stuff, but sometimes it’s a it pricey, in my opinion,

Stopped by here on my way home. Got a mocha frappé that had no mocha taste, tasted like milk. Also got a 6 $ sunday that had a scoop and a half of ice cream and the rest of the container was whipped cream. Also barely had any peanut butter cups. Disappointing

This is my go-to for delicious local ice cream. I usually order vanilla fudge brownie-it’s my favorite. However, pistachio is good as well or chocolate fudge brownie. Go with the small cup size– they actually give you a lot. Prices have gone up a little bit($ 4.10 for a small), but that’s expected with the rise in costs everywhere. They sell other stuff like smoothies, frozen yogurt, and sorbets but I only go for the ice cream. Oh and the staff is pretty friendly and quick too with your order.

They’re are so many flavors!!! Eggnog ice cream was right on. I was happy that they were open at 9 pm as many other places were either closed or non-existent. Not from here, but maybe that’s a common thing for November.

This is a hidden gem in the Boston suburbs. We ventured here for a late night sweet craving and for a while, driving through pitch-dark streets, I was beginning to doubt this ice cream stand truly existed. Well, it surely does and it is worth the hunt! They have SO many flavors to choose from that it was overwhelming, and at the end of the day I went with two favorites: mint chocolate chip and double chocolate in a cup. I ordered the small and thought they had gotten my order wrong when I got my ice cream, I swear the scoops were bigger than my head! Same with my husband and sister who ordered two scoops in a cone — they were huge! Had I known I would have definitely ordered the kiddie size! The ice cream itself was fantastic — huge chunks of tasty chocolate in the mint chocolate chip and the double chocolate(what I could eat of it) was super creamy. NOTE: This is truly an ice cream stand. You will have to enjoy your bounty of ice cream in your car or outside on the tables.

Love sullys icecream! I live right around the corner so I go a lot. My fav icecreams are soft serve, cookie dough and Oreo! They have very big banana splits too, the only prob I have is when u ask and pay for extra toppings they don’t give it to u… a banana split needs tons of choc pineapple and strawberries! Yummmmm

Better than kimballs? No way! The ice cream is hard and not creamy ATALL. The portions are smaller too. The only thing this place has over kimballs are the flavor options but that being said the stand is dirty and the ice cream itself is nothing special. We tried three flavors and all disappointed especially the coffee oreo. We won’t be back. And if you don’t like the lines at kimballs in Westford, then do what we do… Go to carlisle.

I grew up in Westford and go to Sully’s over Kimball’s. Sully’s has grape sherbet! And pretty much every other flavor under the sun. They make it themselves and will let you make any combination of ice cream and toppings you can dream up! The staff is always super friendly and the ice cream never disappoints!

How can one ever give ice cream a negative review? Even if one could, Sully’s doesn’t deserve it. Great flavor, excellent service. No complaints at all.

Very good ice cream. Plenty of flavored, lots of chunks of mix-ins. Dropped one star for the condition of the outdoor eating area & tables. Dirt patch and not really clean tables.

Love Sully’s — you can’t beat it. Always make a stop there when I’m in Chelmsford. Best and most affordable ice cream around. Also, as a former employee(yes I spent a few summers«elbow deep» in ice cream as one person commented and yes I am biased) allow me to clarify the homemade/Richardsons issue. Most of the ice cream is homemade. You can usually tell which ones are bought from Richardsons by the names… anything with a funky name(think Moose Tracks, Maine Black Bear, etc… as opposed to maple walnut or chocolate fudge brownie) typically comes from Richardsons. The yogurt is bought from Richardsons…9/10 ice cream stands do this.(purple cow, mint patty, coffee heath bar… the yogurts you see all over New England ice cream stands… yup, Richardsons.) If you’re looking for great ice cream at a great price… go to Sully’s. You won’t regret it!
