Love love love the mint soft serve! With some chocolate jimmies it’s almost like mint chocolate chip. I only wish they had it all the time! Make it permanent! The water ice is always tasty too.

Not very clean — they’ll touch your money then touch your cone bare handed. The water ice is good — no complaints. I get very thirsty after eating the soft serve ice cream — not sure why or if that’s just me or not. Very expensive, for three soft serve ice creams, medium-ish sizes, it gets to around $ 15. The service is okay with the exception of an older woman that works there — normally has her hair in a bun. I’ve seen her be extremely rude to many customers, kids included.

Never had a problem with this ice cream shop till today, and will not go back. The soft serve was not hard enough and the soft serve in about 30 seconds was bending over and was dripping right out of the machine. When I complained they would only remake it which also was bad and they stated they will remake it again. At this point I was dissatisfied and no longer wanted their product. They would not refund the money and I did not get soft serve. I will not go back. Next time just go to Maple Shade they are great and when they had a problem with the soft serve chocolate they gave me a discount on vanilla and chocolate dipped the cone. That was great service.

I decided to pop in here for a late night bite the other night. Pretty good ice cream shop. While I prefer hard ice cream, they did have a ton of flavors for the soft ice cream. I went with a medium sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and Reese’s. The ice cream was fantastic. The sundae itself was massive. A little pricey for $ 5.50, but oh well, it was good For 9 o’clock on a Monday night, I was surprised that there was a little line. I guess this place has a good reputation. I would definitely go back.

Cherry’s is a Cherry Hill favorite, and a must in the summer time. In past reviews, people have dissed the soft serve ice cream– personally I love the ice cream here. They have your standard chocolate and vanilla, and they alternate a third special flavor– normally mint or creamsicle. The mint is delicious, not too minty. It is great if you get it covered in chocolate jimmies– yummm. The Creamsicle is mixed with vanilla and is very refreshing. Cherry’s can also make a mean brownie sunday. They also have alot of water ice flavors. Recently they started serving frozen yogurt– I have yet to try it. There are so many cold dessert options– almost anyone could find something they want off their vast menu. You’ll also get some bang for your buck with the big portion sizes. Cherry’s also makes some awesome specialty cakes. My family’s favorite is the Gelati cake. You have to order this ahead of time, and I think the big cake is $ 25. You can pick your own flavors! They also make a frozen brownie pizza which is pretty good too. There is a great outdoor seating area under a huge red and white tent.

Like many said in reviews, I wouldn’t recommend custards here. If you want some soft serve custards, go to the Maple Shade Custards. On the other hand, Cherry’s has one of the best froyo I’ve ever had. Soft, creamy, rich, flavorful. Their chocolate froyo is great too. There’s no strange sour flavor masked by chocolate. I think their milk shake and floats are pretty good, since I saw a plenty of ppl ordering one.

Good, but I think Maple Shade is better.

Save your money for Maple Shade Custard Stand — this place is a TINY bit more convenient for me to go to, but I always regret not spending the extra three minutes to just go there. The sizes are smaller and more expensive than Maple Shade Custard Stand and the service can be downright surly. Husband grabbed me a root beer Italian ice, told her it was to go, guess she forgot, so when he asked for a lid he caught an attitude and she lobbed off the top of the ice. And, the ice didn’t even taste like anything. Peeeeeace Cherry’s!

This place is great for a last minute summer time treat. Located conveniently on Haddonfield Road, it is also accessible through back roads behind Kennedy Memorial Hospital and Cherry Hill West HS. On a summer night, there is usually a line, but it is fast moving. Their toppings list is LONG, and includes a lot of things you’d never see at a chain ice cream/water ice stand, such as crushed grasshopper cookies, Twix bars, butter fingers, s’mores toppings, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. This place is a staple for us any time we want a quick dessert in the summer.

This little mom& pop place-is GREAT! They have unique flavors, nice tent & parking lot. When you pass the Cherry hill mall, it on your left, before Cheesecake factory & Wegman’s. It get s the locals, when I am in area, like stopping by here. Do wanna try their Ice Cream cakes-other items-someday!

No summer of mine would be complete without a few Cherry’s trips. What separates Cherry’s from a lot of other ice cream places is that they have a large menu so there are a lot of different options incase you want to try something new. There is a large tented area where you can relax and eat. While it gets pretty crowded on the weekends, they do have a back parking lot so make sure to swing down that side street just incase the front looks packed. If you aren’t feeling soft serve or water ice, try their chocolate covered frozen bananas or their mint oreo milkshakes– you won’t be disappointed.

The ice cream was good, I had a mint cone. The portion size was fantastic but it did not come with chocolate chips so it was a bit boring for me. I should have read it clearer. I went here twice in one week and noticed the water ice was not consistent. It had tasted better the other night. The prices are fair as well and prepare to wait in line on a warm summer night as this place gets packed. The atmosphere is so great as there is seating provided.

This place is just ‘okay’ in my book. Here’s the deal. The location is great on Haddonfield Rd. Also, the atmosphere is nice… there is a tent with picnic benches and on some nights they show movies. Also, they are open later than most other ice cream /water ice places. My friend is nuts over their milkshakes so I go there all the time. The milkshakes are great, tons of variety. The water ice is not very good as far as I am concerned. I love water ice and I am always trying to find the best water ice around. Though Cherry’s is not a franchise, which is a good thing, their water ice is sub par in comparison to places like Stefanie’s on Haddon Ave and even(cringe) Rita’s. Cherry’s water ice is more watery and icey… less flavorful than the competitors.

awesome water ice! similar to rita’s, except that it(luckily) lacks the franchise mentality. a little more authentic, and alot more to choose from. such a perfect addition to any summer evening. it gets pretty crowded so you might not always be able to grab a seat at the tent-covered picnic tables, and you might have to wait in a kinda long line, but i love this place and it’s always worth the trip!
