Love this place. It is like a sports bar jam spot. Nice dance floor. the dj was doing his thing. Awesome music. The place is spacious and very comfortable place to be. Live dj spinning jams. Many tv playing multiple sports. And the food is actually pretty good. You can come for the sports, music, the dancing or the food. Better yet come for all the above and you will not be disappointed at all. Come for girls night out. Boys night, date night or a quick hang out moment. .the staff was awesome.

Service as usual is horrific. Bartenders are just not paying attention as usual. Drinks underpoured and they are not paying attention to customers. Great band for a five cover charge. Guess way this place ch ages hands yealy. Where’s management?

When do bartenders hold seats at a bar for people, especially when the guy sitting by the two empty seats said they’d gone. Secondly, there were a bunch of one-dollar bills left there with coins as if no one was monitoring they’re tip for the bartender. And even worse, as we sat there for a minute to digest what was being said, the bartender says«oh you guys can order drinks if you’d like.» And then offered to show us the drink menu. Well why tell us that we can order drinks if your first statement was that there was someone was sitting there. But again, it’s a bar, and you don’t get seated at a bar and when you get up from a bar, you run the risk of losing your seat. When I came in, there was some music playing and a few people were dancing. I was really excited to be there and I even danced a bit in my seat before this awkward exchange. The look on my wife’s face was pure shock and disgust and I’ve never been anywhere that has made me feel as awkward as Craft House. It was a total bust. I would have at least expected for the bartender to show us to another part of the bar, rather than let us walk out. That was where the real disappointment came in. Only my money was of any interest, not the customer service experience. Usually in an instance where seats or taken, or a place is crowded, a customer service establishment does their best to see that they’re patrons are well taken care of and satisfied. I’m not quite filling another visit at this time. Maybe in a year when this nasty taste is out of my mouth. Very awkward.

Firstly, my opinion is biased because of the location. I am not a fan of going places where I will see a lot of people I know from my hometown and the surrounding areas. Since they’ve become the«Craft House» I will say that the music selection is better. the music is definitely aimed towards an urban crowd. I doesn’t get crowded until after 12. Cover is usually 5 or 10. If you get there before 12 parking will be no issue, otherwise you may have a problem. The bathrooms are kinda… well, they are gross. Lots of puddles and out of order signs. There is a bathroom maid in the women’s bathroom. You are allowed to vape in here which is a plus for me. the drinks are moderately priced. Attire ranges. you will see people in here dressed up, and some looking like they just rolled out of bed. We went to order food at 12, and were to0ld the kitchen closed at 1, but since it was an extremely slow night for them they shut down early. There is a VIP section. Bottles usually run about 250 in advance. this place is a LAST resort for me.

This place completely depends on your mood… and age. I went early on a Saturday night and inside there were senior citizens doing the cupid shuffle… and outside(very nice patio) was empty. I especially enjoy the atmosphere out there to include the hanging chairs, corn hole boards, fire lit motif, and great waiter named Berry. As my friends and I were packing up I realized this place turns into a night club… who knew.

What the hell is this place? I like craft beer. I like craft beer A LOT. I like craft beer enough to put up with all kinds of ridiculousness if I know, with all assuredness, that a lovely craft beer awaits me at the end. World’s on fire bear attack bog of eternal stench? No problem; thank you for this IPA! I have a hard time, however, putting up with extreme ridiculousness if it does not result in the aforementioned beverage. I did not get my beer. We came on a balmy Tuesday evening. From the parking lot: loud DJ belting out something unintelligible, early 90s suck rock, flashing lights from bell/club tower. Weeeeird. Caution to the wind, we enter. The host stand has a sign: «please wait to be seated.» We wait. And wait. Finally give up and head out to outside deck. Another sign: «please wait to be seated.» We wait. And wait. And wait. Aside from the DJ and a bartender, we see no employees. Eventually, we go back inside. We catch a fleeting glance of a lone employee behind a wall. The Capn peeks into the service cubicle to plead for help. The Capn: «Pardon me?» Only Employee Working Tonight:(not looking up) «Yeh?» The Capn: «We’re looking for a host to seat us…» Only Employee to Ever Work Here: «yeh. Just sit at a table and someone SHOULD get to you.» … I write this from the Blue Monkey. Where they have nice, plentiful waitstaff. And beer. Good beer.

We sat outside at the bar on a recent Sunday afternoon. As good as it gets. Nice breeze, a good, cold craft IPA that was reasonably priced, and an awesome pizza. Bartender was friendly and knowledgable about the beers. They have a beer list. I dont know why others complain about the waitress not memorizing about 25 beers! Insist on seeing the beer list instead.

As someone who has worked in the service industry for years I went in with high hopes and was very disappointed. First impression great space with outdoor bar and upstairs«club» but WAY too dark inside for an early evening dinner! In our party of 4 early on a Saturday night in a barely half full bar, 1 salad dressing had to be replaced due to being out of the original request(keep in mind the $ 1 upcharge for substituting salad for asparagus with the steak dinner and the fact that the server didn’t even know alternative options!), 2 baked potatoes came out hard and way undercooked and my supposedly medium rare burger came out as completely raw hot red mush after not the first but the second time I sent it back. The potatoes took an extra 15 minutes to come back to the table and my burger, well it was barely edible after waiting over an additional 30 minutes… Server was very nice but didn’t appear to know anything about the beer selections, and the manager while concerned over the uncooked potatoes never addressed the uncooked burger and we were charged for everything.

Went here wIth a group of 10. Seated immediately and drink order was taken. Had the oyster appetizer. They were about the size of a quarter — very tiny and not much taste. The rest of the meal was good. The place had darts, ping pong. It was also very dark in the restaurant and hard to see the menu.

Oh, whats the point! Iguanas/Top Dog/Millers/Craft House will be sold and renamed AGAIN by the time I hit publish on this review. Every single time, its the same thing anyway; I don’t think the décor has changed with ANY of the iterations. Even the«we have a terrible dance thing going on upstairs, but its $ 20 to check it out» was still in effect. Ugh.(note to the managers, I will NEVER pay twenty damn dollars to go upstairs at your bar to listen to different music from downstairs.) It wasn’t all bad though, I got a beer flight and had some wings and was ok. Its just that nothing was different from the last time I was there, except the name on the door. Theres no need to do a different review every 6 months when this place changes management. Its middle of the road, and has been since Iguanas.

Very nice atmosphere inside and out. The staff is friendly. Try the boneless buffalo chicken fingers. Freshly fried chicken breast and a tasty sauce. The nachos with chicken are pretty good too. The salsa is definitely homemade! A great craft beer selection and live entertainment on the weekends.

Okay, let’s start with the important stuff-BEER! For an average restaurant, their offerings are quite good. For a craft beer spot, they are slightly below par. For a location with the phrase«beer garden» in their name, they are severely lacking. That being said, it only takes one, and us hop fanatics landed on the Evolution IPA(yum!). At least you can tell they’re trying-I have faith that if they stay on this path the tap selection will improve in the future. Moving on-FOOD! We were quite happy with everything we ordered. The spinach dip is seriously hearty-loaded with everything they say it is and plenty big enough for sharing. The fajitas were awesome as well, all items full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The craft burger was large and in charge, we’d definitely order all of the above again. Keep in mind, none of this was gourmet or anything extremely special, just a bunch of classics done VERY well. We also had an awesome server(I think her name was Amanda but I’m not positive). She was super friendly and attentive, even on a busy Saturday night. She lacked a little bit in the beer knowledge area so couldn’t necessarily give educated recommendations, but she quickly and cheerfully went and got the answers to any questions we had that she didn’t know. Also, any time she wasn’t sure she offered up a sample right away, which led us to the aforementioned IPA. Lastly, I bring you what we like to call the kicker. You won’t be short of table entertainment, because them babies all had their very own Jenga set. There will be nooooo sugar packet table football at this spot! We seriously had a blast, getting all competitive while trying not to create too much of a scene when the tower repeatedly crashed down onto my fajita fixins. Overall, it was a fabulous evening and I definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Our question about a different type of beer on their extensive menu was met with a baffling response by the waitress. «Beer is beer, you know? I don’t know.» I don’t know why we came here, then. She also was not familiar with the posted ‘everyday’ specials, and had to take our word for it when she tried to bill us incorrectly. The renovations are not noticeable on the inside; it seems this is just a name change away from still being the same old Top Dog. The menu wasn’t redeemable, either. This is my peeve, when places ask me how I want my burger done, and to compensate for their overcook everything mentality I request medium rare, and it comes out without any pink left and the flavor cooked out of it as well. We also requested crispy fries and got just the opposite, undercooked ones instead. The manager came to our table twice before any food had been even served to check on us but when we needed to point these things out he was nowhere to be found. I’d be surprised if this place continues to make any money at all due to their efforts being misguided and they are falling short of even my minimal expectations.

Great food good mixed drinks large selection of beers. Our bartender Laurie was crazy but I mean it in the best possible way. She was loud funny and made the night even more fun. We ordered mussels in garlic butter, cheesesteak empanadas, bbq burger with loaded fries! Everything was cooked to perfection. The loaded fries were amazing! The mozzarella on top was generous and oh so gooey. We sat outside yes I know it was freezing yesterday but the patio is actually covered and heated during the colder weather. We went upstairs to the club it was Latin night. Older crowd however lots of fun.

We’ve been quite a few times in its various prior incarnations. We’re digging the Craft House and«beer garden» vibe they’re going after. The food on our most recent visits was great. Pizza, good. Burgers, great. Wings are as good as we’ve had. Salads are even good, too. Can’t find any complaints about the food. The beer selection is decent, but has room to grow. The $ 7 flights are a nice touch. If you’re a beer snob, you might not be impressed, but you can tell they are trying. The only very minor issue we have is with service. It was fine the last couple times we went, but this most recent visit was a bit slow. It wasn’t busy in there, so not sure why. We weren’t in any hurry; so it’s not that big of a deal. Servers are really nice, though; it’s all good. I’m sure we’ll be back many more times in the future. They have DJs some nights for happy hour and a little later. They clear a small area for dancing if you’re into that.

We used to frequent this location when it was Iguana/Sanctuary. When it switched over to TopDog/Taylors we had gone a few times. However, the place had become too Ed Hardy’ish for our liking. We were skeptical about this new Craft House… would they just put a band-aid on and slap the trendy Craft Beer label to it? We stopped in a few weeks after the grand re-opening. The inside has some minor changes but still suffers from the same identity crisis. The outside still looks like the same beach bar atmosphere. We expected to find a beer garden, maybe something similar to Frankford Hall for example… nope. The beer menu has improved. We noticed newer food items on the menu. We had the fried pickles, it was a sophomoric mess. Instead of lightly battered/individual pickle chips, it was one large clump; all the chips were mushy and stuck together. The burger was mediocre, the condiments couldn’t even save this burger. Our server was adequate. The prices are reasonable. I just don’t see a reason for returning when I have better beer bars in the area such as The Pour House, Blue Monkey and the Keg & Kitchen. I expected more of a proper Beer Garden atmosphere. Instead, they are offering ‘Beach Party Tuesdays With Bikini Babes on the deck’ and ‘Bud Light Towers’.
