Maidpro

Just say no to maid pro. My house is already a pretty clean house, I just wanted it sparkling clean, mopped, vacuumed and dusted. They missed all the baseboards, it seemed like no vacuuming had taken place. I expected to smell and see a very clean house when I arrived home from work. None of that, it seemed like a very light cleaning, nothing was moved just a touch up clean around the house. I won’t be using them again and I feel like I got burned out of a hundred dollars.

I have received service from them numerous times and everytime they do not provide the service for which we pay. They completely don’t clean entire areas eg. do not vacuum stair cases, do not dust. I have attempted to work with them and give feedback for improvement, but they continue to provide inadequate service and still overcharge nonetheless. I highly do not recommend this company to anyone.

I called and initially had a great consult for a mid-​December cleaning. What I was told on the phone was very different from what happened:
–My four cleaners (not three) arrived 40 minutes early — a big difference at 9am!
–One was visibly (and audibly) upset about spilling something on the carpets, but instead of addressing me (when I’m right there — awkward) she’s cursing up a storm with one of the other women. I eventually jumped in because I didn’t know if what she spilled would stain/​was toxic (I have two cats).
–The checklist went from 49 to 42 points. I’m not sure what was missing, but they did cover everything.
–I was charged about $ 50 more than I was expecting.
–They automatically signed me up for a new appointment, and then only gave me 5 business hours’ notice (when they require 2 days to cancel). I went into panic mode. They said they’d cancel it no problem, but we’ll see if a charge hits my card.
In the end, they did clean the house and it looked fine. But between the unexpected increase in cost and the lack of professionalism displayed on site, I would not use them again.

First of all, these people came into my house and got dirt all over my tile floors with their shoes. One of them started going upstairs with her shoes on after I asked them kindly to remove them. Overall, the house did not appear any cleaner than it did before, and the job was mediocre. They did not move anything to clean under it. I really thought the service would be better for the cost and for the sheer fact that it was an initial cleaning. The man on the phone stated the cleaning would take 4 hours for 3 people (my house is only 1600 sq feet) to finish the job. After they finished in about an hour, I called and had the price reduced by about $ 50. I definitely will not be using this service again.

We just bought a house and it needed a good first clean. I made a big mistake by choosing Maidpro. The two girls showed up 2.5hrs late. I did receive a call from Maidpro letting me know they were running late. They arrived and one spoke no English and the other hardly spoke any and was having trouble with my instruction. They proceeded to clean and in the end I found blinds that were not cleaned, dust that was still on the walls, hair still on the floor from poor vacuuming and it wasn’t until the end of the job that I found out that they did not clean windows. For a 49 point checklist, I should have done my due diligence and noticed that it wasn’t on there. They said it was an additional $ 3/​window. However, they did clean out all of the window wells. The house was completely empty so it should have been an easy clean. I had to pay extra for the empty refrigerator to be cleaned only to find both the freezer and refrigerators to be dripping wet inside after they left. I would not recommend using them.

The reason they get 2 stars is the first cleaning (which cost me much more) was perfect… then it went down hill from there. They have a 49 check list that is a joke and not followed. My service included a team of 2 and would generally last 1.5 hours but when it was only 1 person cleaning, it would last more like 2.5 hours.
A few weeks ago, only 1 of the 2 was sent to clean. It was terrible. Forget the check list, all you had to do is walk in and immediately I could see it not vacuumed and as I further examined, things were wiped down etc.
So I called and immediately they arranged to send the 2 person crew out and once again it was perfect. Maid pro claimed there was a problem with the vacuum cleaner and thats why pieces of things were all over.
So a couple good cleanings go by and once again, the same person was coming out alone. When Maid Pro (Erin) called to follow up the day before and tell me, I hesitated by saying that I don’t want another problem… Erin assured me she had been properly retrained… My first thought was… I thought it was a problem with the vacuum cleaner ??? anyway…
The cleaning person comes out and I should I also mention that i have cameras in my house with DVR playback capability.
She comes out at 9:20am and leaves at 11am. She is suppose to be there at least 2.5 hours. As I was reviewing this tape at work, I figured I would give her the benefit of the doubt until I get home… and guess what? I got home and it was terrible. pieces of stuff all over. counters not wiped down, shower was not washed properly, wasn’t dusted… and who else knows since I haven’t looked at everything.
Bottom line is this, pros and cons:
they are friendly
Flexible but only during the daytime and weekdays
unreliable in terms of the time they arrive.
Unreliable cleaning
49 check list is a joke and not followed
they are only great on the first cleaning
They are good about sending someone out to re-​clean but it’s not right away so I would consider them overall unreliable service.
Also, they seemed very interested in why their employee was only there for an hour and half… so obviously there are some management issues.
